Betsy DeVos proves how stupid she is and how stupid Trump is...

...for nominating her as well as how stupid Republican senators are for confirming her.  She claimed that historically black colleges and universities were "pioneers" when it comes to school choice.  She said:

"HBCUs are living proof that when more options are provided to students, that are afforded greater access and greater quality.  Their success has shown that more options help students flourish."

What an idiot DeVos is!!  Black colleges were created because blacks had NO CHOICE due to segregation.

What's with the

fanatical fascination with words. The college founders where pioneers. They created a place where blacks could further their education while segregation existed.  It gave the students a choice/a chance to do so.

So she misspoke. So she didn't know that fact. Who fucking cares. Do you think it has anything to do with her job?  
   
The second quote is accurate. Maybe not to you. Maybe at one point she was discussing historical issues, and the second quote deals with today.  Again who fucking cares.

I get it you are all for the current failing system we keep pumping shit tons of money into with worse/the same results. What she wants to do probably won't work because the root causes of shitty educational scores/graduation rates are social/family issues that fall outside the classroom but at least we can give it a go. Can't be much worse.

Did you want to have a rational discussion about the failures of our educational system or did you just want to hurl invectives like a child?
