in Vietnam today. He didn't have a teleprompter so he used some note cards. It was disrespectful and insulting to Vietnam. He started out by mentioning "third-world" countries, mumbled through two or three more topics that were undecipherable, then finished by talking about John Wayne fighting in Vietnam. It was so bad, the venue started playing music softly and gradually increased the volume until Joe got the message that he should get off the stage. It was like watching a speech at the academy awards from some wacko and they had to play him off the stage so he would STFU and stop embarrassing himself. Priceless.
Then Joe landed in Alaska at a military base, was met by a very big military officer and said, if I had you blocking for me in college, I could have been an all-American. Then he launched into a teleprompter speech where is again said the Maga crowd is a bigger threat to democracy than any foreign threat. It was not well-received by the locals who showed up.
[Regarding the "Nicolay copy" of the Gettysburg Address:] "Matching folds are still evident on the two pages, suggesting it could be the copy that ***eyewitnesses say Lincoln took from his coat pocket and read at the ceremony.***" Lincoln read from NOTES???? How disrespectful!!! IMPEACH!!!

The OP was about Joe Biden's SPEECH, right there in the subject line. I thought that speech lovers would want to see Trump's speech, too. Some would argue that it was more of a one hour, fifty minute insane, angry rant, but I posted the link so everyone could watch it for themselves and come to their own conclusions. About your criticism of Biden referring to notes, I posted that ****Lincoln read the Gettysburg Address from handwritten notes.**** Was that disrespectful to those who "gave the last full measure of devotion" there? Would you have demanded that Lincoln be removed from office? Then, as now, "public reaction to the speech was divided along partisan lines." (wikipedia). History has provided some clarity.

First of all, it was NOT a speech, it was a PRESS CONFERENCE. I'm not surprised you don't know the difference. Biden gave some initial remarks. It was pre-determined that he would take five questions. He answered five questions and then said he was going to bed. Someone asked another question and he answered it too. At that point, Karine Jean-Pierre stepped in to end the press conference because Biden had fulfilled his obligation to answer reporters' questions and Biden indicated he was done. That is what ALL press secretaries do at ALL press conferences.
This statement in your post is a TOTAL LIE:
