Wow, you make me scared to be on the west side if that's how things work. You do things very ghetto. You cannot go off of your "gut", point blank period. You have to cover your bases. And step one, is to not do anything illegal in the first place. Your not doing a drug deal bro, it's just an escort. And I'm not sure how savvy you country folk are on law, but escorting is not illegal. Prostitution is, but we are talking about escorts. Thus the "anything that happens between two consenting adults" part.
And as far as entrapment, that is where an officer tries to convince you to do something illegal... fyi....
So an officer (as an investigator) is only allowed to investigate, meaning ask questions. If he offers, entices, or in any brings up the idea of doing something illegal, then it is ENTRAPMENT! And I agree, an undercover is exactly that, an undercover. (For the ppl following, NO, an officer does not need to disclose his/her identity! another reason for a pic) But even an undercover has rules to follow. A TRUE le check is getting the officer to break the rules, and more important, getting him doing so on tape or video. So yes, a nude pic would be doing so buddy.
When doing a le check, it is important to remember that it is all about collecting evidence in your favor to protect you. Don't play with a shit hand, stack the cards in your favor!
Good luck!

Bobby, are you a member of the He Man Woman's Hater club along with Spanky and Alfalfa? Your practice of law via the internet is a shambles at best, and a danger to every companion out there. While I admire your desire to bring us poor lettuce pickers sage advice, please try to be a bit less rigid in your post.
The entrapment rules last statement is:
A person does not establish entrapment if the person was predisposed to commit the offense and the law enforcement officers or their agents merely provided the person with an opportunity to commit the offense. It is not entrapment for law enforcement officers or their agents merely to use a ruse or to conceal their identity. The conduct of law enforcement officers and their agents may be considered in determining if a person has proven entrapment.
See that part that says " Its not entrapment"? Read the part about "Ruse" again. How many girls do you want to go to jail because you present yourself as an authority on the law? Did you stay in a Holiday Inn last night or did I miss something? LE need not identify themselves and can conceal their identity. That means they can lie. Sure there are entrapment laws, and guess what, if you have a web page or advertisement for what is obviously an illegal act, they are not entrapping you. Nor are they avoiding or creating the predisposition of the advertiser. Get a grip and get an attorney, you would be surprised at how many of us have done just that.
For your edification there have been busts for many things where the undercover has had to ' go with the flow". Dave in Phoenix (google him) keeps a good detailed and catalogued public archive of where LE has broken all your safety rules, made the bust and the bust stuck. Look him up and learn a bit about your new home area. The safety issue is not just on the provider side but the client side. So all those busts where LE posts on BP and lures the guys to hotel, yeah those are all undercover female LE showing their face??? I don't think so.
I know we are not nearly as educated and on the same page as you city slickers out east, but give us a break. For those of us who don't post facial photos of ourselves, I can think of a dozen reasons we would not send one to a "possible" client. Exchanging photos is plain stupid. If the person is LE I have just given him a clear photo of my face to spread around so that every beat cop in my neighborhood knows me by face now.
I agree we should all work together, but lets do this with a semblance of qualified and quantified information, and not the musings of the misinformed.
