Bobby, are you a member of the He Man Woman's Hater club along with Spanky and Alfalfa? Your practice of law via the internet is a shambles at best, and a danger to every companion out there. While I admire your desire to bring us poor lettuce pickers sage advice, please try to be a bit less rigid in your post.
The entrapment rules last statement is:
A person does not establish entrapment if the person was predisposed to commit the offense and the law enforcement officers or their agents merely provided the person with an opportunity to commit the offense. It is not entrapment for law enforcement officers or their agents merely to use a ruse or to conceal their identity. The conduct of law enforcement officers and their agents may be considered in determining if a person has proven entrapment.
See that part that says " Its not entrapment"? Read the part about "Ruse" again. How many girls do you want to go to jail because you present yourself as an authority on the law? Did you stay in a Holiday Inn last night or did I miss something? LE need not identify themselves and can conceal their identity. That means they can lie. Sure there are entrapment laws, and guess what, if you have a web page or advertisement for what is obviously an illegal act, they are not entrapping you. Nor are they avoiding or creating the predisposition of the advertiser. Get a grip and get an attorney, you would be surprised at how many of us have done just that.
For your edification there have been busts for many things where the undercover has had to ' go with the flow". Dave in Phoenix (google him) keeps a good detailed and catalogued public archive of where LE has broken all your safety rules, made the bust and the bust stuck. Look him up and learn a bit about your new home area. The safety issue is not just on the provider side but the client side. So all those busts where LE posts on BP and lures the guys to hotel, yeah those are all undercover female LE showing their face??? I don't think so.
I know we are not nearly as educated and on the same page as you city slickers out east, but give us a break. For those of us who don't post facial photos of ourselves, I can think of a dozen reasons we would not send one to a "possible" client. Exchanging photos is plain stupid. If the person is LE I have just given him a clear photo of my face to spread around so that every beat cop in my neighborhood knows me by face now.
I agree we should all work together, but lets do this with a semblance of qualified and quantified information, and not the musings of the misinformed.
Okay, so I am new to the Phx area, but have been 'hobbying' for years. I am from the east side where things are a little different. Back east everyone is more on the same page. There is more communication and people research alot more.
I have heard alot of rumors here about different ways to do le checks, like the 'hug' and all that. Well let me tell you this, a 'hug' will not save you in court, nor do you have any evidence aside from your own word of mouth that the officer 'hugged' or 'touched' you. THIS IS NOT A VALID LE CHECK!!!!!! Scary for some people, I'm sure. I have also heard that entrapmet laws do not exist, this is another lie. You can read the entrapment laws on a government website at this url "http://www.azleg.gov/FormatDocument.asp?inDoc=/ars/13/00206.htm&Title=13&DocType=ARS".....
So how can we be sure??
I have heard of this new picture method where you both exchange pictures beforehand. This is aside from any law and simply just plain common sense. AN OFFICER WILL NOT DISCLOSE HIS IDENTITY! He will not give you a picture out of fear of retaliation! Think about it people, he does not want you to forward that text with his picture and post it online saying that he is an undercover. This is just plain common sense. It has never failed me, and it works great for both hobbyist and providers.
Also, in the court of law, this can be presented as evidence (look at the second article in 'statute 13-206 : Entrapment.") and be construed as enticing you, thus making the officer the guilty party BY LAW!
These are the type of things they look up on the east side. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER EVERYONE! Let's share as much as we can!!!
(Oh officers are not allowed to eat or drink anything that you offer them, not only by their agencies protocol but they also just don't want to be drugged or poisoned. Buy the poor girl a bloody drink!!!)
Makes good sense. Then you can take the picture and upload it on your facebook page. Thanks to the new facebook picture recognition. You might be able to obtain the name of the individual.

Thank you Reagan! I love your frankness, honesty and upfront attitude! You are so refreshing! I think I'm in love! ![]()
Wow, you make me scared to be on the west side if that's how things work. You do things very ghetto. You cannot go off of your "gut", point blank period. You have to cover your bases. And step one, is to not do anything illegal in the first place. Your not doing a drug deal bro, it's just an escort. And I'm not sure how savvy you country folk are on law, but escorting is not illegal. Prostitution is, but we are talking about escorts. Thus the "anything that happens between two consenting adults" part.
And as far as entrapment, that is where an officer tries to convince you to do something illegal... fyi....
So an officer (as an investigator) is only allowed to investigate, meaning ask questions. If he offers, entices, or in any brings up the idea of doing something illegal, then it is ENTRAPMENT! And I agree, an undercover is exactly that, an undercover. (For the ppl following, NO, an officer does not need to disclose his/her identity! another reason for a pic) But even an undercover has rules to follow. A TRUE le check is getting the officer to break the rules, and more important, getting him doing so on tape or video. So yes, a nude pic would be doing so buddy.
When doing a le check, it is important to remember that it is all about collecting evidence in your favor to protect you. Don't play with a shit hand, stack the cards in your favor!
Good luck!

I like your style Reagan. Very intelligent and well written. I was wondering if you ever attend business parties?
. I travel often to Phoenix and would love to have some company for my business functions......
ReaganMoore said it well. You have no clue.
If you did get an undercover picture and posted it you could be charged with interfering in a police operation.
Entrapment has virtually never anywhere worked as a defense. Cite a successful case.
I big Alq forum just went down with the owner having 40 charges against him for running a board.
Many gals in Phoenix get busted solely for words like GFE on their website. No contact with vice needed there are busted and in one case lost in a jury trial in Scottsdale for prostitution based on GFE on website.
In AZ first offense is a mandatory 15 days in jail, usually Tent City very hot in summer and can be cold on Winter nights.
I know too many gals that have would up with criminal records and in jail and know your advice is worthless legally.
Wow... You people hear a rumor or see a story on the news and you write it in stone. I can't stress enough how important it is to know the rules.
And no, you cannot be charged for writing a post. The server you are writing on is most likely not even in the same state and that would be a federal issue.
And no, you cannot be charged for advertising fetishes like gfe, pse, or dom. Otherwise every dom palor would be illegal.
And yes, entrapment is your BEST ticket out, as long as you have evidence!
I see people like you all the time in court, "but I asked if she was an officer" or "but she gave me a hug"... but, but... but....
IT'S WHAT YOU CAN PROVE PEOPLE!!!!!
Cheers
I don't know what your hug test is, that makes no sense.
Sometimes LE will get guys to go undercover if they make a deal with them after they find their reviews on boards etc that they use for evidence as this board used in recent case full of reviews in evidence book.
The guy will go in and even have sex and then LE will bust later and guy will testify and the money is traced by serial no etc.
This avoids being "out of policy" for LE themselves to engage in sex which was why all of Sheriff Joes cases a few years ago was tossed. Not because of entrapment but deputies enjoyed themselves too much in making the busts.
There are ways to avoid breaking the law that have have advocated for years that work far better than these gimmicks that don't work.
Often busts are done with LE using gals as informants since they are scared to death and help LE as part of plea deal etc. This is how the big ALB board went down yesterday with 1400 members and their "foolproof way" of verifying clients and escorts. He is now in prison on $100k bond with more arrests from all the forum info threatened.
Well said mate. I believe you are reffering to a paid confidential informant, or pci. These are usually girls that have very serious charges and are out on bond trying to get a "letter" to the judge offered by the investigating officer. A very ticky thing to deal with. But I agree with you on just staying legal. There is no reason to break the law in the first place, just play by the rules.
Some people didn't seem comfortable with my post on pic verification. (which is understandable for the married man) but there are many ways. Record your phone negotiations and clearly state that you are paying for company and nothing more. Buy a cheap voice recorder. Something.
But I think you said it best, just don't break the law in the first place!
cheers

I also wont accept a drink for the same reason.
A female officer would most likely avoid letting a guy get that close to her for safety reasons, not for any legal reason as there is no law against an undercover touching you, although it is against police procedure and the prosecutors here don't like to pursue cases when there is evidence of touchy feely by the police. google "operation housecall".
Entrapment is legal suicide. You have to give up the presumption of innocence in order to use it because you are saying that yes you are guilty of the crime but only because the police enticed you into committing it.
Now, instead of the police needing to prove that you are guilty, YOU have to prove that THEY are guilty and if you don't, all that is left on the defense table is your confession. You took your constitutional protection and handed it over on a silver platter to the police.
That might not be common sense but it is certainly legal sense, although common sense dictates that you should verify it with an attorney since I'm just an escort.
