As a Giant fan, I'm more than happy to post this.  So enjoy, and a very Happy & Healthy Thanksgiving to all!!!

The Philadelphia Police are cracking down on speeders heading into Philadelphia.  For the first offense, they give you two Eagle tickets.  If you get stopped a second time, they make you use them.

Not bad, Frankie.  It's interesting to note that the Oakland Raiders may actually be closer to winning a Super Bowl personnel-wise than the Eagles are.  Younger and better upside players at HB & QB.  I think we will see the Silver & Black return to its glorious past and win the Super Bowl before the Eagles do.

Stole this from another board and modified to fit the topic:

Anthrax  Scare
Philadelphia Eagles football  practice was delayed nearly two hours yesterday after a player  reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on the practice  field.  Head coach Andy Reid immediately  suspended practice while police and federal agents were called to  investigate.   After a complete  analysis, FBI forensic experts determined that the white substance,  unknown to the players, was the goal line.    Practice was  resumed today after special  agents decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance  again.

Carlton are you serious?? As bad as the Easgle are I'd still take them over the Raiders.  Other than the Lions, the Raiders have to be the worst organization in football.

I would submit that the Eagles organization is kind of in chaos these days, too.  Who will be making the personnel decisions next year?  Who will be the coach?  Who will be the QB?  OK, the Raiders have a nut for an owner.  A strong-willed coach who instills a winning attitude can put that at bay, as it has there in the past; Jim Fassel just may be the man for the job.  Al Davis is the same as he always was, but it took guys like Saban, Madden, Flores, Shell, & Gruden to win and that kept him in his place for the most part.  Aside from that, let's compare the HB position.  Who do you want, a younger McFadden or an older, banged-up Westbrook?  Let's now compare the QB position.  A younger Russell or an older, banged-up (physically & emotionally) McNabb or an unproven Kolb?  Now compare the O-Line.  The Eagles have ancient (though still good) tackles and their best guy (Andrews) has shown to be kind of brittle of both body & mind.  The Raiders personnel-wise I think have a better core to move ahead than the Eagles do.  We shall see.

Don't they tell them about the Jets EVERY year?

Gonna be a lot of broken ankles around October next year when fans start jumping off the Phillies bandwagon. Hope I'm wrong. McNabb will be gone next year for salary cap reasons. About $9.5 million reasons.

Last two were road wins against the Patriots and previously undefeated Titans.  Favre finally is hitting his stride, and the Jets are now playing at a level where even the G-men would have their hands full with this crew...
