Ok when a provider sucks, lol I said suck. I believe the review. And when the review is good I also believe it. no one would really tell a lie unless he was a total Dick and got pissed at a provider because he thought he was special and the provider had to set him in his place. BUT, was it really that good? Or is it that you really just want to tell a good story and puff your chest out?

I'm new here so forgive me if this has been talked about over and over again but, some of these reviews read like romance novels. feel free to bash me if you like, Lol. =}

every reviewer has their own style..some are short and concise..others ramble on forever..some like it flowery and romantic..others graphic and hot..you make up your mind..every review has to be approved..if it is OK with them..it should be to you too..

Look, there is a lot of "fluff" that goes into many of the reviews. Some are just good reads. Do some guys flat out lie? Yes. But I think you will find, for the most part, almost all of what you read is probably true in terms of the sexual activities that happened between the two (or three! lol). Sure, some reviews are flat out fakes for guys get 15 days free VIP membership for each review they write, but many of the women report that to TER and they can have them removed if the evidence warrants. Forget all the Harlequin novel romance b.s. you read. Instead look for what the girl does (i.e. BBBJ, DATY, etc) and how well she does it and if you think you would be compatable personality wise. Dont read too much into any one review and give weight to a trend in reviews and an overall history of reviews about the lady to get a better, all around picture of her.

I agree with bpm, don't bash on this board. I would say look for consistncy in the overall reviews, does she score consistently 8's or higher or are her scores all over the board. Also click on the reviewers name and look at his consistency in reviewing, does he have 1 or 20 reviews. Basically just do research, pm the reviewer, he'll probably be more up front in a pm than in his review.

Once you've been around  awhile and read plenty of reviews, you'll realize certain reviewers are tough scorers and others,  are easy scorers. Sometimes before even reading the review, I'll check to see how the reviewer scores and who he's seen. If we've seen the same providers and have given similar scores, than I put more trust in the review.

I agree with the earlier posters.  People have their own style.  I tend to be less "check off the boxes to indicate if these services were included" and more about describing the lady in my encounters, the environment, how she smelled, the texture of her skin, her appearance, the atmosphere, etc.  So, I tend to be less concise

My excuse is that..outside of a couple experiences...I've been really lucky so far.  Each lady I've been with is a cherished memory.  Some I will never ever see again.  Even still, I rarely go for a in/out/over type experience. I almost always do longer dates.  Call me a 'doter' if you must...but, I reminisce about each experience.  They are really special to me (I like chick flicks too).  In my defense...I don't do this often...so...I have only a few good experiences to remember. And that makes them more significant to me.  For instance...

I was with an Aussie once and I can still hear her say "would you like to have sex now?" in a lilting and mischievous accent from down under when I close my eyes and think back.  She was lying her face off...but, I went from zero to fully pitched in no time!  She's part of the reason I became a big fan of Tippy on Satisfaction (Australian Showtime series about a high-end brothel down under).  My aussie lover was a pretty close rendition of "Tippy" in appearance and voice.  (And...several of the ladies on that show are very hot)

On another occasion, a young lady really surprised me with her body art. I knew she had tattoos...but, I wasn't aware of how many and I didn't know about her piercings and other body mods.  She got my engine revving like never before.  It was like she was from some existence completely foreign to me.  She also had this quirky little smile and absolutely smelled like heaven...or at least what I imagine heaven to smell like.  I spent 10 minutes just taking in the smell of her hair (which I'm sure she loved ).  Oh...and she had these incredibly long nails on one hand...a bit like she had really narrow and long guitar picks on each finger.  She would flip her hand palm up and drag her hand across my back so the tips of those nails would just barely graze the surface of my skin.  It felt amazing!  

So...you get the point...I like to describe things and often speak in metaphors, analogies, and similes.

That's my style...and many probably don't make it this far in my posts ;P

But, I'm sure there's a few out there who do...so I guess I'm writing for them.

Like with everything in life, you have to vet that information.

If you weight every single restaurant review in Yelp the same, then you are doing the same thing.

Check the reviewers' other reviews, and see if the reviewer shares your tastes.  See if the reviewer appears to know what he is talking about.  See if he rates girls that you know in a similar way, or if he tends to give every girl the same ratings.

You have to do your own research to determine the quality of the review.

I expect a little variation but not wide swings.  One per page of consistant reviews means she human & didn't hit it off with the guy.  But numbers aren't the most important...  if you are interested you should get VIP & read the full reviews.  This will give you the best idea of what the experience was like.

To others, not so much.

As a newbie, I had no idea how powerful some of these reviews(and reviewers) could be. I admit I was dismayed and apprehensive at the very idea of men proclaiming their escapades with ladies who might be "outed" or worse, due to public descriptions of their meetings.
Still have mixed feelings(can't help but blush at the candid details), but honesty compels me to say that the first review a very kind gentleman posted for me on TER, changed my life.
Still don't know why he TOFTT with me, but I'll never forget the immediate respect and requests for appts. his review garnered.
An unexpected gift for an ignorant, naive, woman who thought she was pretty savvy. Love learning something new every day.

It may seem simple to you, as easy as answering a few questions, such as:

Was she good or not?
Was she pretty or not?
What did she do for you?

But the first two questions require answers that are totally subjective. And that is before you get into the issue of translating your experience into a numerical score, which is so completely subjective that I (mostly) ignore the numbers.

To put it into the most simple terms, some reviewers answers to the above questions will be based completely on their own tastes, while others will try to get beyond that, try to separate whether she was my style, from whether she was good. For example, I do not like much tooth in a BBBJ, and tend to like slower, more sensual sex over all. Does that mean that a high energy, fast-paced lady deserves a low score from me? I do not think so, unless I feel like she is doing it solely to rush me out. If it is just her style, and she does it with energy, enthusiasm and engagement, I will give her just as good a score, and review, as a lady whose style matches perfectly what I want.

OTOH, I read the OP as also asking whether some reviewers will write nasty, negative, at best slanted, at worst dishonest reviews because a lady somehow pissed them off. The answer to that is definitely yes. If you see a lady who is consistently getting 9s and 10s for looks and then there is a 7, read the review and you may also discover that there was some snafu, he was late and she had another obligation so part of the time he paid for was lost to him, and suddenly she gets a 6 for looks, and a 5 for performance. Her fault? Not really. You learn to read between the lines and can guess that he smelled bad so she did not want to kiss or suck his dick, which pissed him off as she knew he does it for everyone else, so she got a 3 for performance.

And more. Read the review, look at who else the reviewer has reviewed, see if you have providers in common and how his opinions match up with yours. The system works okay, but you cannot take every review at face value without doing a little homework on the reviewers.

Numbers to me don't make much difference, in that if I see scores that are 8s and above, it's worth investigating further.  9s vs. 8s make no difference to me.
