Can we post on this site?  Like ads? If so where? I tried paying for a monthly membership and it kept saying my credit card is declined. There is no way. I just deposited money into my account anyone have any advice or suggestions.

You are allowed to post ads on the Regional Ad Boards.  There are specific rules on posting ads that you should learn before you start to advertise.

You should also check out the self help center (top right of the page near the life preserver) there is a lot of good information there (including the ad posting guidelines) You should also consider poting comments and joining in discussions on your regional discussion board. that will help people get to know you.

As for your VIP payments, it depends what type of credit card you are using. If it is a gift card type CC, it might not be accepted. TER headquarters is based in Europe, and apparently US gift cards are not accepted as payment. A regular bank credit card works, but if you are worrying about anonymity, you might try paying with cash. There is a "trustcash" option. Apparently it is extremely simple and anonymous. there is no monthly option with that method, but you can get quarterly for $75 (vs the $30 per month monthly credit card bill). When you get reviews, you can actually get a limited free Provider VIP. It is not a full VIP, but it does give you access to the PM system and ability to read your own reviews.

i am also ne3we to the boards and no matter what the posts i do get deleted and all even when i follow rules.. am i doing something wrong..?

   PerfectStorm is correct. I used the Trustcash option when I joined. Simply download the form from TER, take it to almost any bank, TER lists the ones that participate, hand over the form and your money and get your receipt. By the time I returned home the payment had already been credited and I was a newly minted VIP member. I had tried using a pre-paid card and TER doesn't accept them.

Not totally sure what you are asking, but it sounds like you might have tried to post ads and they did not go up. If that is the case, then you must be doing something wrong. Re-read the ad posting guidelines. (from the self help center or in the link in the reply above from Derr) Basic rules are that you can only post one ad per 7 days, on your own regional ad board. You can't post ads on the regular discussion boards but you can participate in discussions and you can ad your website link to your posts.

Looks like you are in Salt Lake City, so you can post ads on the "other cities"  ad board. There are different rules for posting when you are touring other cities. Your ad post on TER has to have a link to either your website, or to an ad on an ad mall or to your TER profile. If you use your website, the website has to have a TER link on it. I checked and your website has the required link.

If you are talking about regular posts (not ads) getting deleted, that shouldn't be happening. As a new poster, you are moderated, so all your posts (including ads) will not get posted immediately. They have to get approved first, and this could take minutes to hours. After you have established a good posting history, you can ask admin to unmoderate you and your posts will go up instantly.

Try the cash method. Yea, I know you have to pay for 3 months, but at least you'll get a small discount for doing so. Plus you can advertise all you want (within TER guidelines) for those 3 months.

That way you don't have to worry about the credit card issue.

a real credit card. You register online with a fake name, address, and DOB, and then use that same info. for the forms online. I do this when booking hotels online and placing ads on adult sites as well. Welcome to the board all of you!

I did do that sweetie and it kept telling.me.declined I'm just going to do the cash payment method. Thank you everyone
