Good post, Melissa.

I hope that all who read this will take it to heart.  Remember guys, providers are people too, they have private lives, and above all don't need to put up with time-wasters or rude guys.  The better you treat them, they better service you will get from them.  Safety and discretion are two of the most important rules to be mindful of.

Providers should do whatever they feel is necessary to be safe . . .

when seeing a guy. If a guy doesn't want to give the lady the information she needs to feel safe, then he should move on. Some ladies screen more carefully than others.  

Some ladies barely screen and should be avoided. You ask why? How about getting a matching set of silver bracelets.

My first instinct would be to just not see these guys rather than instruct them do specific things differently.  Wouldn't you rather them give you these red flags so you know not to see them?  The audience that you are talking to that acts this way quite frankly does not care about you or your feelings

I have an experience...

In a perfect world, OP, wouldn't that be AWESOME!?!

Today, I was screening a potential client.  I asked him to provide certain info so that he and I could see each other, and so that I feel comfortable with him.  He obviously didn't like my request bc he told me that I am a piece of sh*t and f-u.  I'm like... ACK!!  "Thanks for the verbal abuse so that I can block you immediately!"

I've had moments when I wonder why some people act crazy, and how unnecessary it is.  Reading this thread makes me see that poor behavior right away can be a blessing in disguise..

phone, maybe a reason to not list your phone number and only give it out once a guy is screened.

You might not like how he responded to you but think of how much worse the meeting would of been with someone who acts this way.  By the same token I have had providers act rudely (albeit rarely) when setting up an appointment and I decide to change my mind as things most likely will only get worse.  Simply teaching rude people to disguise their rudeness in their introduction will not help.

Why not just go with a verifiable provider reference

I have been told some escorts do not want to do this out of jealousy.
From an escorts point of view what could be better than info from another escort if the client was safe

I just delete and don't waste the time or energy

That's what I suggest
My phone number is only given out right before we meet so I don't have any uncomfortable phone calls
I could not even begin to tell you the number of emails I delete but the time spent doing this has been minutes and the anguish is ZER
