Ive had clients in the past who (for lack of better words) blackmailed me with the lines "I'll leave you a review" or "wait until I tell the boards this" with the intent of getting me to do something outside of the service or outside my comfort zone. Is there a way around that?
Give a small-minded person even a tiny bit of power, and he becomes a huge prick.
Sooner or later, this happens to a lot (if not most) of providers. Sometimes they don't even give you the courtesy of threatening, they just go ahead and give a low score because they didn't get what they wanted...... even though what they wanted is something that is NOT on your menu.
If there are lies or gross inaccuracies in a review, then contact ADMIN. Unfortunately, I've read many posts from ladies who've said that not only have some inaccurate reviews not been removed, but that some completely fake reviews have been allowed to stand too.
It's really difficult for ADMIN to know who is telling the truth and who isn't. So they have to make a judgement call, and sometimes it just doesn't go in the provider's favor.
Sucks, but that's the way it is.
I've personally had good luck lately with getting fake reviews removed. In my case, though, I did notice that I have more of an established history here on TER than the fake-reviewers did so I'd guess that had something to do with it. That, and at least one of them had submitted almost word-for-word copies of the same review for multiple ladies.
If you're gonna fake it, be creative, dangit!! Dust off your creative-writing skills and really go for the gold! If nothing else, it should make for some entertaining reading.
I'm totally kidding, of course. No one should be submitting false reviews for anyone.... including themselves.
