I have never heard of the rule of starting a photo thread counts as your weekly ad and I also do not see it listed in the provider ad guidelines section.  I have never heard anyone else mention that rule.  I don't believe that is true.

i am a new provider with no reviews...i have great accurate photos...
and a ad on a site... i can not post on ter yet so i feel in kind of a jam...
do u think that offering video chat before meeting wud be 2 much? just to let my clients know i am real? please give any feedback!

You can link your ad to each post you make IF you get a TER logo on it.

That way people can check you out.

If you post a lot on the local boards people will get to know you and someone will eventually give you a review.  That's the way people get established.

Best wishes and I hope you keep posting now.

Read the Newbie Manual that is link on this page to learn how to get the TER logo on your ad.

You can have one 'ad' per 7 days.  If you start a thread with a picture post, it counts as your ad.  However, you can reply to posts by others & have a link to your pictures or web site (with TER link back logo which is available as a cut & paste I believe.)   Replying to posts will help to get you better known & where many clients prefer to see reviewed ladies, there are always some willing to see new Gals...  particularly if they get a good vibe from chit chat.
There is only one account client or provider...  until you get reviews.  Then you use the contact us link to get them linked.  You first reviewer sets your profile but you can file a "problem report" to correct mistakes (height, weight, cup...  link to your ad or site with the correct info for  admin to verify).  Providers get complementary "Limited VIP" once linked.  Limited VIP allows you to see you complete reviews & use of the TER PM system.
As all Newbies are Moderated...  your posts will be reviewed before they go up.  Once you have a posting history...  request to be unmoderated.
Best Wishes,
HV

Where did you get this information? Never heard that before.

If you start a thread with a picture post, it counts as your ad.

I believe photo threads are a newer exception...  however, I think you'll find the DicussionBoardAdmins post above to cover this.

Not sure what you are saying here. You have received good advice on your thread below. Reread that thread. Are you saying your ads are not allowed at all? Or are they just not going up right away do to moderation? Your ads and your regular posts won't go up instantly since you are moderated, but they will go up, unless you are not following the guidelines.  If they are not allowed at all, there should be a reason.  You should be able to find out why by checking "my message boards." One of the most common reasons for ads being disallowed are bad links (linking to your website, when your websitge doesn't have the TER hyperlink, or linking to an ad on an admall that is now invalid, or linkig to an ad on another review site ) or posting more than once in 7 days.

As for video chat, I have no idea if it's a good idea or not. Never tried it. I'm sure it might work for some guys. But others may just use it to 'get off" and never have an intention of meeting you.  Plus your ads have to work first to get people to contact you, before you even reach the video chat stage, and it sounds like yo are haveing an issue just getting people to notice you. So I would worry about the ads first before thinking aobut something like video chat.

ok thanks for the advice

And you are correct about the photo thread rule. Never heard of it.

Yah, if that were true, no lady would ever start a photo thread!  LOL

As others have suggested, please check the Ad Posting Guidelines at:

http://www.theeroticreview.com/discussion_boards/viewmsg.asp?boardID=33&Messageid=75544

We looked at the ads you attempted to post and found the following:

1)  one ad did not have a link included

2)  the other ads you submitted, included a link to EROS, but not a direct link to your ad; in order to get the url for your EROS link, you can do the following:

- pull up your EROS ad
- scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "Click to create a direct link'
- copy & paste the direct link which appears in the link URL field on your TER ad

As for the discussion on posting photos:

- you can post a photo in your ad
- if you post your photo on a general board or regional board, which is not related to the subject of the thread, it will not be allowed
- you can post a photo on the theme day thread on your regional board (see guidelines for additional information)
