Your information is probably less safe actually. An agency basically means probably more serious record keeping and more likely that your information is seen by multiple people. And if the agency is busted, there is a chance those records could become known to LE or be made public. I'm not saying that it's better to stay with independents. Both have their pros and cons. With an agency, you are more likely to get the woman in the photo and you have at least some assurance the woman you see isn't LE.
