That can be true and on global scale. There are just few cities in the world where quality of the food is same as in NYC  
NYC even in JFK meets you with smell of fresh baked pizza and cheese cake  
So I think all cities just dines out ( when not hobbying of course )

I think the best food cities in this country at least besides NYC of course would be San Francisco and New Orleans. Not that cities like Chicago, Boston and LA among others don't have some great restaurants, but NYC, SF and NOLA, just stand out above the rest as dining destinations IMO.

Internationally, I would have to put Hong Kong at the top of my list.

But hobbying is one the better things on that list!  Forget about sex?  Not possible here...horny 24/7/365.

So many restaurants and great places to shop...also tons of entertainment.
Lots to see and do in NYC.
