Very interesting and well put. I agree that some good providers are keeping rates reasonable and that is why I keep going back to them (thank you ladies).

I remember Trinity's post on the subject of rates several months ago.  The OP wrote a long well worded post, but the answer is not complcated, imho.  The market drives prices.  If a provider can move her price upscale to let's say 5 bills and she still has a large client base willing to see her, then more power to her.  The MN market is not known for higher prices, but that has changed somewhat over the years.  When I say market, I refer to the specific area she is serving. If on the other hand like Trinity, she wants to keep her price low, that is her choice, (and it does depend on services offered as many massage/escort providers are not quite FS and that does keep the price down).  Also, being altruistic in pricing is certainly a provider's choice.  Having owned and operated several successful retail enterprises over the years I have always believed in the power of the market to determine price.  The goal in pricing is to maximize profit while at the same time being competetive, finding a balance that is always determined by the market.  This is a primary source of income for many providers and just like most professionals many want to make as much money as they can.  Recently we had a starlet wannabe from out west in town asking for a grand an hour.  I thought wow, she must be nuts.  I emailed her after she was here, she said she had 5 guys see her in the 2 days she was here (of course I have no way of knowing if she was being truthful, but her website still indicates those high rates so somebody must be paying them).  I know a gent who recently saw a porn star and paid $$$$/hr.  He said he would do it again in a heartbeat.  The market will ALWAYS tell a provider when she is charging too much.  Finally, in any sector of business there are the best, the average and the not so good.  The hobby is a luxury, but some will always want the lowest price, well, there is a segment of the market for that, although I think that the risks are greater as the price gets smaller.  The top ladies deserve every dime they make, imho.  I know some guys can only afford $$ and there are sources for them or they can save and see a top tier woman.  But being a hobbyist is not a need for most, it is another choice ..how do I spend my money and what are my priorites?

that rates and worth are not one and the same.     Rates and Classiness are not one and the same.  A lady can be classy even if she only charges $150 or $200/hr.

Some ladies set their rates higher to weed out the bottom feeders and to lighten her load, so to speak.  
And,  ladies who have more on their menu and are consistently getting 9 and 10's for performance should receive a higher compensation than those (like myself) with more modest scores and less on the menu.  
My rates are not a reflection of my worth as a person and as a woman.

When I see high rates posted I just remind myself that a flight to Bangkok is $1500, a room at the Nana is $80/night (and around $45/night at a nice little place down the street), bar fine in $4, and a young lady for the evenings horizontal refreshment is $20-$80.  If I get bored, go up-country and have some fun.

Yes, I've seen providers appearing who are asking for quite high rates.  I don't call or email them.  I see someone whose rates are within what I am willing to pay.  Scan through the reviews.  There's not that many of providers asking those rates.

I rather enjoyed reading both sides male & female to this awesome thread.  I can relate to all sides & used to be affordable when I wanted the business.  Now, I play once a week, or month if I am lucky.  My time is very limited, so I choose who I play with wisely.  Chemistry is everything, but after reading Trinity's post I may have to start giving back a little charity perhaps to the less, than blessed.

every girl target the market they want based on the rates they charge..to each its own...like cars, houses, or everything else each is after the market they want to be in. I do not think 5+ bills is a big deal

I can't speak for everyone so I'll just speak for myself.

I do not and have never wanted to see multiple people per day.  It's not my style.  In fact, 2-3 people a week is more my style.  

When I first started and was charging a very low rate, I'd get 100-150 phone calls a day so that I had to shut off my phone after I was able to screen ONE person.  That stinks for the other 149 people calling so I decided to raise my rates.  Calls dropped to 50 a day. Raised them again a year later and calls dropped to 10 a day.  Way more manageable.  Raised them one last time about 2 years ago and now I get the perfect amount of calls for my "Supply".  

So with these girls, if they can get it, they'll ask for it.  If they can't, they'll lower their rate.  Honestly, if it seems too high for your comfort level, don't go and see them.  If enough men stick to their guns and it's the majority, then the girl may eventually lower her rates.  If not, then she is obviously pricing herself correctly for her own comfort level.
