Set up a meeting via text with Miliah about 2.5 hours in advance.  Nice Ad, great photos and she seemed friendly through the text exchange.  Promised I called while on my way to the general area she gave me.  25 minutes prior to our arranged time and no answer.  Cooled the jets till 10 minutes prior - no answer.  One last call just before the agreed upon time - no answer but a few minutes later a returned call.  Explained that we had a meeting scheduled "oh yeah, that's right.  I'm not there right now it will take me about 20 minutes to get there."  Told her that if keeping a prearranged appointment wasn't important to her that I'd pass.  

What is the deal with these providers who schedule appointments and forget within minutes?  Are they really that stupid?   Man I hate killing the drive time and blowing an evening.

If I ncns there's a very very good reason for it such as my sitter bailed last minute or the phone girl/guy forgot to alert me because the call volume is so high but I at least try to apologize if I ever make a mistake even try to make it up to them somehow. Now I just use VM and call them back myself to prevent that mishap.
She could of at least tried to offer you a discount for your trouble.

It is most possible she did not forget about it.  That scenario is most likely caused by a double booking.  You were 2.5 hours out and she thought she could slip someone else in ahead of you.  The 20 minutes was needed for clean up, most likely she was there.  Just the way I read that scenario.
