in my neighborhood think that just because their dog's hot, stinky shit melts down into a foot of snow, that they don't have to pick-up. That hot stinky shit will still smell when I get home after stepping in it?!?!?!

I had a neighbor who started scooping it up and putting it in the offending neighbors mailbox with a note. The note would be something like "your dog left this in my yard. I knew you would want it as much as I do" He would put it in whether or not there was mail in there. It actually did help.
while we are on the subject I thought that I would add in my two cents, an old saying that I heard somewhere along the line goes like this, Some people think that their shit does not stink BUT their Farts give them away lol
a day of eating all my favorite foods, and the next morning knocking on my neighbors door, squat down on the stoop, and unloading............. then on second thought, SHE is bigger than me, and may rub my nose in it!
