From my experience and what I have heard from others, UTR girls are most commonly someone a hobbyist knows before they go UTR or hear about through back channels.

I've known a few, and yes,  it's usually someone that goes UTR or someone I know tells me about them.  

UTRs are usually less dragged out and much more into the few people they actually see.  

However, I would never tell anyone about a UTR unless I knew for sure they were the type that would keep it under wraps and be the type of client a UTR gal would want. That's what guys have done for me, and that's the same way I'd do it. Asking for UTR info in an open forum isn't going to get you anywhere unless the person giving out the info doesn't *get it*

ditto that Geronimo.  It is great to feel the special relationship that can develop with an UTR.  But an open forum is not the place for a chit-chat.

I still see clients--even new ones sometimes!--but no longer actively/regularly advertise. My priorities are elsewhere, but now my escort "work" is more of a sexy getaway than a job. (Which is how it should be IMO!)

Maybe it's just been my good fortune, but the UTR relationships I've encountered have stemmed from a situation where there's mutual attraction. It assures me that I'm not exploiting anyone's desperation. That's a line I won't cross... call me soft-hearted. I think with OTR girls the fear lingers that this could be the case.  
Irrational on my behalf possibly, but I have to avoid that at all costs. That's the downfall of sticking pretty much to UTR ladies only. You can't really ask them for a reference...
