I've been in and out of the hobby for the last few years. I been getting aquainted with the new local providers. I came across someone on TER that peaked my interest. I was verified and scheduled the date...when I showed up I realized she was someone I know, not super great friends but someone I socialize with amongst common friends a few times a year.  Is this just an incredibly rare coincidence, or has this happened to other hobbiest?  

Hasn't happened to me yet, but it could have.  This is also why I don't go to a certain town, even though I know I could make money there.  Anyway, a few years back, I received several emails from a man, and I realized I had dated him several years before.  Thankfully, he had a very unique last name, and I ignored the emails. After about three or four emails they stopped, but I often thought, what if his last name wasn't so unique?  ???  

Better to bury the hobby side.  Tell her you respect what she's doing and that it's confidential with you, and you expect the same from her.  And that its best not to see her in the hobby.

Once I got past the shock...my next concern was anonymity.  Then logic started setting in, and I realized her discretion is just as important as mine. Once I got passed that I wanted to proceed with fhe date as I've always thought she was attractive.  

I knew nothing about the "screening" side of this hobby...... when I opened the door of the hotel room I saw him and realized he was a former neighbor of mine....he had even done an interview of me for a school report...... and then had also hit on me a few times when he was a young 20 year old...... in various situations, to which I nicely declined.   OMG.....  so, of course He recognized me right away ...... I said, get your ass in here and promise me you wont tell Anyone.....    He says, I promise I wont say a word and THIS has been my fantasy for years!!!      

Both requests were declined. As a rule I simply don't mix the hobby with my civi life.

When I first started in the hobby I didn't screen well either and one evening on an outcall I had a session with an ex coworker of mine. A young man who worked in another area but nonetheless was a coworker. I did not recognize him but he did me right away yet didnt tell me until halfway through the session. I was horrid and scared about confidentiality. I tried to end the session but he begged and said it was a huge fantasy come true as he had thought of me many times. I agreed to stay but asked him not to tell anyone ... And really at that point what could I do lol. I don't know if he has ever told anyone but I haven't heard about and he calls every once in a while around 1am (those wild young boys). I've always been asleep so haven't seen him since.  

Great advice bri....I'm likely to keep the relationship professional if she is willing, its way more fun. I likely will avoid social gatherings with her for a while...so she doesnt feel uncomfortable.

and whether continuing the play or not, to just keep the lips sealed.  Keeping the lips sealed is good for the soul in this circumstance and is the only way to keep with personal integrity.

YOU have always been my fantasy too, I just didn't realize it until I first met you!

I know a few girls on here that I have been friends with for awhile and they are new to this. I emailed one and let her know I may be coming to see her (all our friends know about this and is kind of a joke). She says come in anytime but I probably never will, it would be way to wierd and probably wouldn't have much fun.
