don't even bother to try and figure out the way escorts think, especially when it comes to donation amounts. But here's a WFAG, they don't like multiple hour dates so they charge more. And if you've ever been to a M&G you could see why.

Now that I've hooked you all with that sexy title I have a question.
Because each appointment has some built in transaction costs it should be more efficient and therefore more efficient for most escorts to maximize the number of multiple hour engagements that they have.
By way of example using some made up numbers, let us say a provider works 12 hours a day, given that she has to schedule at least 1/2 hour in between appointments the greatest number of clients she can see on any given day is around 8 since each appointment actually occupies about 1 1/2 hours. IF she charges $500 that is $4000 she can earn in one day.
If however she can obtain all 2 hour appointments, there is still only a 1/2 changeover time so she can see 5 clients in the 12 hours for a total of 10 hours of billable time. So she could potentially make $5000 in one day.
In order to maximize this potential an economically rational actor would offer small discounts on the 2 hour rate to encourage multiple hour appointments while still retaining some of the economic bonus. So instead of charging $500 X 2 hours = $1000 for each 2 hour session she might charge only $900. She would still then earn $4500 per day, more than the $4000 she would earn if she only booked 1 hour appointments.
This economic principle appears to be borne out by the fact that the majority of providers that offer explicit multiple hour rates do offer discounts.
My question is to those who do not offer discounts. I have seen adds for $350 for one hour, $800 for 2 hours and then back to $1000 for three hours and other strange combinations.
There could be any number of reasons for this but it is not "rational" from a purely economic (meaning the classical liberal economics) point of view.
Could anybody --particularly any providers that charge a premium for multiple hour appointments, rather than offering a discount-- comment and explain. I am just curious and if you would prefer to reply via private mail/pm/message I will respect your privacy and not post up your answers.
