I contacted a provider and she asked for references.  Then she asked if my last name was the same on my e-mail and I said yes, and I never heard a word back.  Now you wonder if your references get mad because another provider called and they were not contacted by me???  Or you wonder if the providers bad rapped you???
Or finally is telling someone in e-mail that I am basing it on their TER profile such a bad thing they think I am with the FBI(female body inspectors)???

I told her I based my decision to contact on the profile and was not asking for her to go to any length about details.  I mentioned that someone had stated their likes and dislikes on their web site and in no way did they even come close to what their site stated.  If you are not saying anything other than words of this nature then I do not consider it to be a deal breaker.  Why take the chance of slamming $400 to $500 in someone's pocket so they can bad rap you behind your back???

You should always contact the provider you are using as a reference, just to let her know. If I get a call out of the blue from someone wanting to verify a client, and he did not let me know, I do not give a reference. I have no way of knowing if this is your wife, a significant other or who...
If a client contacts me first, by email or phone, I will gladly provide a reference as long as he is safe and clean.

That is a very good point.  Of course I am not married, but if ever prompted again I will contact them first.  Right now I am not in the mood for any more of this, especially if it going to be that much hassle.  My best experience is when I called, the provider shot me a menu with prices, and everything was as she stated and I had no complaints.  It was all straight forward.

his references didn't meet my standards.  All of them were Backpage ads and only one had reviews.  He scores are all 5 to 7, she has only been around a 5 or 6 months and her minimum rate is $50.  He told me that none of the women that he has seen screened him.  I don't consider these women reference worthy.  I doubt they even know if they are coming or going.  They have put little to no effort into their online business or learning how to do it safely

Normally I require a minimum of 2 references.  However, if it is somebody that I know and trust to keep good records, then their word is enough.

PGP works very well and I know a number of people who are happy with it.  Although, it takes a few minutes to log into and can be a real dog on a portable drive.  That is why I ask people to e-mail me their reference requests.  I think the price was only $200 or $300 - less than a 1 hour appointment.

Personally I think it is totally ridicules not to answer any question a potential client has.

Once a client has passed my screening and I am sure 110% that he is a real client , I am more then happy to answer any question he may have , and no he shouldn’t rely on “other sources” what a provider offers and what her donations are.

Don't email reviewers asking questions , don't rely on " well I read somewhere"

If info isn’t on the ladies web site , then of course he has to ask certain questions.
Personally I was advised that certain information should not be on the web site.
Certain info is discussed over the phone once I know the client is who he say he is………………..and I don’t need references to figure that out
But hey , everyone does things the way it works for them.

You guys need to stop taking things so personally .You contacted a lady , she hasn’t gotten back to you …............. move on.
Not the end of the world.
You didn’t do anything wrong , and if the lady doesn’t get that ...........…Well her lose , someone else’s gain

btw,If you ever plan using a lady as a reference , then be sure to give the lady a heads up.

Thanks to all for their input.  It was a one day experience of being upset.  Time to move on.

I never ask 4 any references.
