in the early days of our hobby careers.  I felt like a total hedonist in the beginning when I was seeing one Kgirl a week, then I became addicted to it and started escalating the numbers.  The third year I spent over six figures on Kgirls, at a time  when the going rate in SoCal was $250 and less in the bay area.  $65,000 was with a single agency who had four legends at the time.  

 
I knew I was out of control, so I put myself on a regular schedule of Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday sessions to limit me to three time a week, and I have managed to keep to that schedule all of these years and have never again gone into the six-figure range for a year.  Maybe you should try a set schedule of one or two days a week to see Kgirls and you will find that it's not all that difficult to keep to it.  To make it work, you should be looking ahead a week or two to see who is coming and going from your area.  Once bookers know you are safe to pre-book and will not cancel once you are booked, they will work with you on giving you a heads-up about who is going to be working a week or two out.

...you rely on a paycheck.  You wouldn't have to worry about "moderation" if you owned your own business.  Take CDL for example - he's a successful  businessman who has over 60 employees.  He sees K-girls Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and twice on Sunday.  He doesn't have to worry about "moderation."  He can see K-girls anytime he wants and still have plenty left to see 12-15 "indies" a year.

Just have to control your emotions and stick to a budget.   Perhpas find another hobby/interest to supplement the K girl hobby.  

We don't have the stereotypical "KGirls", like how you west coasters enjoy them.  Here in the DC area, we get a bunch of Asians, mainly Thai gals, which thank goodness for them being here, otherwise every provider will be priced out of range of most mongers.  Average pricing = $350-475.  The Korean gals, ~$350-550

The few Korean gals I've seen were fantastic.  Each visit I felt like I was a long lost BF that they missed dearly.  It always leaves me wanting them more and more.  

I can only assume that since nearby Annandale, VA (which is a HUGE Korean community), makes them become extra careful from engaging in this activity, as they are a very close-knit community; aftaid of being discovered and bringing "shame" to their familes.....  I can only guess.

...and find myself getting bored very quickly with the routine of it all. The only issue is that if I take a break too long I have to start the agonizing process of getting vetted all over again, and for me that can be very challenging. For that reason I try to see a kgirl at least once a month (even if I'm not really feeling it) just to keep my account active.

You feel the hobby interferes with your life in a way you don't want to. Ie, a sign of addiction.

 
From your post it seems you do think it interferes now. How do you stop? Well, depends on the person. If you're a sex addict like myself, will be tough to stop. You can set aside a bankroll and once you're past that don't visit any escorts, cold turkey. You can also only choose to see regulars or conversely, only new pussy.

 
Some demons you gotta face all by yourself. Personally as someone who always binges shit, I go cold turkey. It's excruciating at first but it works for me overall.  

A lot of this hobby is instant gratification, so maybe making the appointment more difficult to happen for you, can work. Move somewhere where a kgirl is not at a moments notice but a two or more hour drive. Idk. Something like that.

I got addicted to K-Girls in the Bay Area during COVID. Saved money be not driving into the office, cancelling my gym membership, not eating out, not traveling, etc.  

At my worst, I was seeing K-Girls weekly. No regrets back then, but now I'm a bit shocked looking at all the withdrawals.

Nowadays, I spend more time planning and paying for vacations. Helps moderate my consumption.

I’ve been doing it almost 15 years, and I agree it’s addicting! You must be disciplined enough in your business life to create the surplus income to hobby in the first place, so just apply those skills here! Set a budget, plan your sessions out a little in advance (create something to look forward to), increase or decrease frequency depending on cash flow, and always reward yourself with bonus sessions for extraordinary wins! Go crazy in the session, NOT when planning the session!
