I''m in Chicago. Some nice Asian providers here and a couple of Korean AMPs, but I guess compared to LA, it's not K-Paradise.

The general consensus within the LA kgirl community has regarded Chicago as a raising touring destination, although the recent report suggest that Chi-town is colder than Mars. So a lot of scheduled travelings are halted until after Korean new year.
LA is actually acknowledged as the worst city in the US for kgirls in the fourth quarter of 2016. In comparison, SF seems to be robust with a bigger market, easier routine and a lively nightlife far more attractive than SoCal atm.
From my brief experience one would not get bored with the Korean Palace girls in Chicago and from the reviews there seem to be enough alternative outlets. LA is an insiders game as all the discussion on this board about the difficulty getting in with the bookers attests. Bay Area has the numbers and it seems competition keeps the price down. NYC and Philly have recently improved the scene with a few good houses but in NY the Chinese providers are the rising stars.

I realize one must be careful with regard to how much stock one puts in anything gleaned from the internet, but I was blown away recently with regard to the number of girls that are (allegedly) doing it. I don't understand the mentality on either side, those that seek it or those that give it out.

@Jensen. Agree that Mid-atlantic area does not seem as noxious to the girls which has been a boon to us as the quality has improved. I have talked to many of these girls who live in LA but will not work there-granted many reasons not to work where you live but a few have mentioned the monger behavior as a reason.
As GAG I have had BB with Kgirls but there is a huge difference when it is 1. The woman's choice( I have never asked for it but have accepted rarely)and 2. I don't mean to distract from the BBFS discussion. I don't have much to contribute there--I don't know that it's a big thing in Chicago, but then I have been basically out of the scene for a while.
We get touring k-girls up here in Minneapolis. So the agency issue doesn't seem to be the same problem, as I managed to get in with just two okays on p411 at the time. Of course we don't get the selection of a major k-girl hub city, but I find they come here at a rate that exceeds my budget, so even then I can't sample them all
I identify with the sentiments of our Minnesota colleague. While we do not have a large selection in Philadelphia the two reliable agencies,EPM and Osaka get such good touring girls that there is always as many babes as I can see in my time and situation constraints particularly as so many are repeat worthy.
I look at the LA and SF Cityvibe lists and it is a little overwhelming for choice but I do not feel cheated out of quality.
As for the BB issue I think it must have something to do with the dense centers of Kgirl concentration and the competition that makes them push the envelope.
Regarding the current LA market and how we got here, it is a complicated topic that could be stretched on for hours. There's a lot of threads earlier this year that has been archived, do a search for more details if you find it interesting.
In the summer of 2016 there's the Vigilante/Troll movement against kgirls in LA. Much of it has been well-documented on TER. As a result, the trinity between the Orgs, the girls and the hobbyists became very discombobulated. The Orgs became very cautious, high-traffic locations were closed and relocated. Screening became extremely defensive. Small independent ops got busted, mid-tier girls start to tour other cities. Words got out and the kgirl circuit maked a red X next to LA. Most importantly, a lot of middle-class corporate workers became discouraged and quit hobbying altogether. While the newcomers aren't getting in, the whales and sharks started their feast in a closed tank.
For the last three months, a lot of previous "safe" talents got insurmountable pressure from the mongers. Instead of properly manage the limited resources, Orgs has turned a blind eye and stopped blacklisting mongers when they have gone too far. Keep in mind the mongers have all the time and resources in the world and they usually spend 25-30k a month on personal entertainment. In practice, there's the 9:50AM appointment for the girl that already submitted so the monger can dump a creampie for all the guys to share; there's also the 9:50PM appointment for the girl that's tired and resisting so the monger can have his forced BBFS.
TL;DR LA sucks now, it is known and new girls aint coming anymore.

An ATF of mine recently tried a stint up in the Bay Area and she left because the customers "had no manners and it was not safe....too much stress". Seems it is spreading.

While it's true the stupid, ill mannered and uncultured are found everywhere I get the sense from the touring girls that at least in the mid Atlantic (DMV) area we're a bit better mannered clients.
Most of the girls I talk with say they hate LA clients but love the area -- large K community so easier to get around and feel like they are at home, great weather, still in the USA (that does count a lot it seems), etc. Someone else noted that they were seeing more Asian in their area and that's certainly true in my area, thought there has been a sizeable Korean community here for years. Maybe they should move east and just vacation in the west 
Actually, k girls no longer value the US as the destination to work like 5-7 years ago. Much fewer new talents are coming here and orgs are relying more on local k girls who have stayed beyond their 90 days allowed. Local girls eventually get unpopular in one town and they have to tour in various towns to make living. There are many reasons why K girls avoid the US market including limited customer base who can get screened, demanding guys with bb and other unreasonable acts, travel exepenses, and pressure to get good reviews
I know women from LA go to OC and say OC guys are relatively nicer.
Just send them over to Chicago! We Chicago guys are the nicest of all.
