Just because the guy was tipsy doesn't mean he is a drunk. I'm certainly not defending his behavior he should've canceled the date. Maybe he was just in a good mood and started having a drink or two and let it get away from him. Like I said though he was wrong and should've canceled the date.

first of all... I like the way you started this thread.
Clever IMO... on a board where we are UNABLE to address our reviews directly.
There is no way to know what you "should" have done...
Life is a learning experience.
I feel sorry for drunks. I have dear friends who struggle with alcoholism...
on & off the boards.
MOST of the time... drunks are miserable inside.
They are often unable to accept responsibility for their own actions
& of course their memories are not as clear as could be.
I no longer entertain drunks but...
I have been known to allow a drunk visitor
to take a nap in my play room rather than let them drive away drunk.
I suggest you tell future clients that you prefer they don't drink
before or during your time together.... BEFORE you get there.
