so, the Pope is approached by a hooker during a late night stroll in Rome teeth_smile
She whispered "$50 for a blow-job"

Shocked, he ran back to the Vatican and called Mother Superior in and asked her "what's a blow-job?)

Mother Superior said "Father, it's $50, just like on the outside"!

I hate being slow...confused_smile
I hate to say I don't get it. Probably one day, it could hours, days, weeks or even years. One day I'll go awwwww! now I get it. I'm getting until this part: "Father, it's $50, ...specially this part: just like on the outside".
Can somebody explain it to me. I want to laugh too.

Humor is gossamer, and once you try to analyze it, it falls apart.

But don't worry, one day your brain will unravel it and you'll start to bawl laughing, probably at your daughter's wedding ceremony or some other inopportune time.

the  Pope met Mother Superior at the nunnery, which in Shakespeare's  time was a polite name for a whore house.

Thanks Rev
Somebody sent me a message explaining it.
But thank you, your smart explanation only shows it wasn't a stupid question.
The only stupid question is the one not asked.

Yes, there most definitely are stupid questions and you have asked several of them right here lately. This last one was an incredibly stupid question.

I get it, you have either no sense of humor, or a very warped one, but do you have to constantly piss all over this board?

If I am understanding, English is a second language for him.  (I could be wrong.)  Anyhow in the case of language we have things called "idiomatic expressions" or "idioms."  These are expressions where the words have different meanings than the literal interpretation.
.
An example given is "Hold your tongue." Which literally means to grasp the tongue, but idiomatically means don't speak.
.
As you can imagine, many many jokes rely on idiomatic expressions. And therefore make no sense to people who are recent to the language.

besides, he's been posting here for almost 19 fucking years. ESOL hardly applies after that long.

and does it really matter if he doesn't comprehend English and all our idioms because English is not his first language or if it's just because he's a fucking moron? Either way, The Erotic Humor Board is NOT the place to come to learn English. if you don't get a fucking joke, ask someone sitting next to you to explain it, you don't shit all over the fucking board with "I don't get it"

Nice try Lester, but I have lost all patience with this fucking idiot. His little act used to be kind of amusing on other boards, but shitting all over the humor board isn't amusing at all.
