I had a funny experience tonight, but it got me thinking.  

and all they want is some variety from time to time. Some are stuck in a bad marriage and hobby all the time. Then some are divorced and would prefer not to date/marry. I am sure there are all sort of people who hobby.

I had a funny experience tonight, but it got me thinking.  
   
 I'm on a business trip and out to dinner with some guys tonight. At one point a scantly clad woman walks by the table and the conversation switches to "working girls"; that's where the fun begins  
   
 So for the next 20 minutes I'm listening to 5 guys, ages late 30's to late 40's, go on and on about how they would never pay for sex. How they would divorce their wives if they weighed too much, or if they didn't put out...you get the idea.  
   
 That got me wondering...Is it unusual for a hobbyist to have a good looking wife and a great sex life at home? I'm thinking it's not. And the money, in my mind, isn't so much for the sex but for the insurance that whoever I fuck won't show up at my house and screw up up great life.  
   
 But maybe I'm the 1 in 1,000, how would I know?

Courtney, he's simply paraphrasing an old Charlie Sheen line. When Charlie got caught up in the Heidi Fleiss fiasco he was honest about his taste for escorts, but insisted that he never paid for the sex, he paid so the escort would go home at the end of the night. Of course I never pay for sex either. I'm just a very generous and giving guy who out of the goodness of my heart donates money to complete strangers by placing it in an envelope in a very discrete location within their hotel room that is strangely so endearing and appreciated that the strangers voluntarily engage in carnal pleasures with me. What's real strange is that by the weirdest coincidence the strangers are always female, this has happened with the same exact woman on more than one occasion. What are the odds?

Well, then you're a lucky man. But I don't know that having a hot wife who is dynamite in bed necessarily stops someone from seeking new adventures: especially when they are so fortunate that they can afford to play with some of the beautiful women who participate in this endeavor. Just my opinion, with absolutely no empirical data to support it, but I think human beings are not especially predisposed to monogamy. I think we have had Puritan values drummed into our heads for such a long time (survivors of the parochial school system raise your hands), and made to think that sex was a function for procreation, and nothing else, that being monogamous was synonymous with being in the image of God, or Yahweh, or Jehovah, or Buddha, or Shiva, or whatever title you want to associate with a divine entity. Maybe it all started with the 10 Commandments and "thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife." Not really sure a lightening bolt from heaven inscribed that on a stone tablet. Seems just as likely to me some old, wealthy landowner/merchant thought that one up after finding his much younger, hottie wife messing around with one of the house slaves. you want to describe it. The point is, if done safely and discretely, with full, unequivocal consent by both individuals, sex is a pretty amazing experience. And when there are variations in the sexual dynamic, whether it be role-playing, change in locations, wardrobe fantasies, or dare I say it, different partners, the experience can be greatly enhanced.

From personal experience having a hot wife does not equal hot sex. I had a hot wife,  she went down on me once in 20 years, would not let me go down on her, and only preferred MISH.
