In AZ  there is never much  happening  I use to love to host house parties or attend them with close friend  but over the last several yrs  I cannot even remember the last time I even was awake at midnight so even though I will be tucked in  fast asleep I thought it might  be fun to hear what you folks in Chicago will be up to ......I also wanted to wish my favorite city a safe a prosperous  and Happy New Year and cannot wait to to get back .....hoping there might be some snow  soon   whats up with that no snow this year? I hope by the time I arrive that its a white wonderland!

When folks start 'wishing' for snow.. that is when we get record levels!  

Can't remember the last time I washed a car during Christmas break but I'll take this weather. V, you're missing one of the mildest winters we've had here in a while. Still, it's no AZ in December but we take what we can get around here.

Start with hors d'ouevres at one house before moving on to another house for salad.  The to a third house for dinner.  Finally, dessert at a fourth house.  Generally, we have a glass of wine with the hors d'ouevres, water with the salad, wine for dinner (two glasses max) and assorted coffees with dessert.  Four couples, four houses, good fun.  We start at 7 pm and spend about an hour (at most) at each house.  Home for New Years away from the drunks.

with sliced bananas, oranges, apples, pound cake, marsh mellows, cookies.  Regular coffee, decaf coffee, mocha, lattes, capuchino.

Then again, I don't have to drive to work, know how to cook, and have a fireplace. I missed the epic experience of Snowmageddon and thunder snow, and have been praying for a repeat. So I say: Bring it on, Old Man Winter!

I always go up to the girls that my bro's are liking and play the cutesy gstirl card and then point a chosen bro or guy friend and say, "They are just a little shy and nervous around someone that looks like you.  I mean your flawless.  So do want to come over and have a drink with us?"  And that's how it works - no fail rate so far.  Then I sit back and see who fucks up the coordination first and who heads to the bathroom for a quickie.

Onto the next pub until I get bored and want to go home.  Still entertaining though - girls can be so dumb and shockingly easily manipulative (I love chicks but find that I'm really good at helping lazy friends and brothers score so that counts as helping, not being manipulative).

Other than kicking out strangers when I wake up (another fun thing to do) and also make a remark as they are doing the walk of shame yell out in public "YOU FORGOT YOUR DIGNITY - I MEAN PANTIES!"  All in good  jest.

Also, before a pub crawl you must have dinner or you will be a lightweight and be of no help to anyone.  That's right people even when I'm not working, I'm still working

1) Hearty meal but not too hearty so you still look good in your skimpy minidress, skirt or whatever.  No one likes big dinner gut.
2) Don't get wasted until after you've accomplished your goal of winggirl and get lots of shots for being the most awesomest.
3) Hide panties to throw at the slutty girl who took advantage of my poor, sensitive guy crew unless I get a girl and am feeling generous then we order breakfast and cabs are ordered.

I have my normal plans - a lot of good food and wine in a private place, then stagger home. Too fucking old or smart to go out on an amateur night. But a lady I rather like let me know she is in town to welcome the new year with some friends, asking if I would like to have a pre-party with her that day. You meet the nicest people around here.
