I defiantley dont want to see someone or assiocate with anyone,  like that. That just takes away from the real Miltary personal that really do scarfice and disicipline their life as a sacrifice....
A shame and Weard !! someone would,  infiltrate the miltary. Which I have close ties to for example my baby bother, 2 uncles and grandfarther. And respect for all that have served past or present....

Plus it's so easy to reveal fakes as fakes, by anybody who has been in. I can do it in about three questions, at most.

I am not in . Every male member of my family has served and my son is active duty Army. They just sent him to a deployable unit.

He was a big mouth drunk, braggart and compulsive liar. He used to like to brag about being a special forces Vietnam vet, this was back in the late seventies early eighties. The problem was he would go running his mouth around other real Vietnam vets who would see right through his bullshit when put to the test, detail are a bitch when someone baits you by saying a battalion was in one place, knowing the whole time they were five hundred miles away from there at the time.

I didn't lift a finger to help him though, he damned sure earned his ass whipping and I told him straight out afterwards. He never did learn his lesson and obviously our friendship did not continue

Kind of like escorts telling people that they have several masters degrees. Or the 30 year old hookers who still insist this is just to pay for college. Or the 3 year fairwell tours.  It's the same thing as this guy telling me be just came home for the sandbox. Facts are stranger than fiction.  I wouldn't have liked that guy less if he told me he could only come up with $250. I know not every man has a ton of money and I'm not heartless.
