The only place my posts go up immediately is the Reviewer Only board.  This is not because people are moderated, all posts are moderated.

The post I made below about three-somes originally had some math symbols in it such as plus signs, equal signs, and greater than, or less than signs.

I could not send the message however because I got an error message stating that I was using hyper-text signs in the post, which is not allowed.

I couldn't figure out what they were talking about since I didn't use the normal hyper link signs like http, etc.  Then I remembered once working on some computer program that would not allow certain symbols in the text of an entry, so I changed from using symbols to writing them out as in the first sentence above, then the message went through.

Anyone know why this should be?

In any case, just beware of this to avoid aggravation which I need first thing on a Monday like a sore ass

Why?  I have no idea.  But every time I forget the rule and put LULZ or LMAO into a headline the post doesn't go up until I correct that.  So many rules in TERland.....

That's because you're moderated.:D

Whenever I do it they put up the rule and it says nothing about my being moderated.  It's just a rule that, when you're not moderated, they don't enforce, which is not quite the same thing.  But the rule applies to everyone.

In the subject line and the body of the post.
So impposter is correct. However that rule does not apply to acronyms, like LOL, and TER, and ROFLMFAO.
I find it hard to believe they didn't allow you typing acronyms in all caps. Either you had something besides your LMAO, or LULZ, or TER is just fucking with you.

If your posts aren't going up here in real time it means you are moderated.

The only place I can think of where EVERYONE is moderated is the P&R board, we aren't allowed nice things over there because the animals there break anything that's nice.

I was moderated when I first started posting years ago. Within a month I was unmoderated. Since then, I was moderated one time, for pissing off admin, and that only lasted 2 days. That was in 2012. Other than the occasional random moderation that affects everyone (though I haven't even seen that in months) all my posts on all boards go up immediately.
Majority of posters are unmoderated unless they are new without much posting history or if they broke a riule or are considered troublemakers. How is it that you have never been unmoderated after all these years?

I have tried to post: "SOCIAL MEDIA: AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE THAT IT IS!" as a subject line and I was specifically told by TER that I can't use ALL CAPS in the subject line. I guess that just a few CAPS is all right?

Just wondering ... How do you pronounce "TERland"

turr (like purr like a kitten) land ?
teer (like fear) land ?
tair (like the air we breath) land ?
tur (like fur) land ?
tee-ee-are land ?

It's just so confusing

You also can't put all caps words in a headline.  Why?  I have no idea.
TER does not want to have posts resembling the ads at that back-something website; perhaps you visit that site so often that you forget when you are here.

Oh, and for your info, I don't spend any time on BP.

TER enforces the ALL CAPS when:

- Provider posts an ad with CAPS used in the subject line that are not accepted/grammatically correct - EXAMPLES of CAPS which are not accepted:  VISITING - RED HEADED- MIAMI, etc.

Examples of acceptable words:  LOL, DC, LA, MILF, VIP

- ALL CAPS are not allowed in the body of the message, on any board

ALL CAPS are acceptable on the General and Regional Boards in the subject line
