I will sometimes ask if a gentlemen is married, as way to see if texting correspondence is allowed. I do not list a phone number on my profile, nor do I give it out to gentlemen until I have had at least one session with them. I do not talk on the phone to clients, for me it's either thru text ( with verified and established clients ) or thru email.

Most likely just small talk or possibly curiosity. Most of the time  we already assume most of our suitors are attached in someway.

I am fairly new to the hobby and have actually seen more ladies in other states than Wisconsin, but I was wondering why providers ask if I am married or not? I have had this happen 5 out of 6 times and just wondering why they would ask that because it kind of kills the moment!!!! Any insights would be appreciated.
   
 It is just small talk. If I felt we had a good connection and if he could be a potential regular in the future, I'll always ask, attached or not if texting is allowed or whatever way of communication if im able to shoot that client a heads up "hey btw text" of when I will be arriving and traveling back through that town to arrange anything. At least for me. And if he says, No, It's simply understood as to maybe why he would prefer to stay discreet and then I just leave it at that. But for most part it is just small talk.

Yes.  Or if I have a girlfriend.  Not all, though.  I've thought it to be small talk....or curiosity just as I wonder sometimes if any of my providers have significant others.  Doesn't bother me.  A provider might give us better insight.

I've never asked a gentleman if he's married or not, but I've had plenty of them tell me that they were without me asking. I've also been asked about my personal life-I'm single but I really don't like being asked either.

Not sure, I've never asked that question.. I generally like to know age, race, such things like that. Maybe they have had a few run one with wives.. I know I have, but I give the "I don't know who your talking about" line and don't respond back anymore.. I generally host in Chicago area, but from Milwaukee and I've never heard a woman ask that..
