I think this is part of the problem, but this is more-so with the gents who aren't seeing reviewed gals. The gents who see strictly BP gals (those ladies who don't advertise anywhere else), tend to stick with those gals...and those who see the reviewed gals, tend to stick with those ladies. Of course, there are gents who dabble back and forth from time to time...which the "ladies" offering those extra services, to tend to set the precedent in the market for those activities, and as you stated, then the gents begin to expect it from everyone...and the one's who don't are affected. I know when I first started, the NCNS rate in Madison was quite high, but over the years, and with the addition of requiring references and adding myself to more sites, that rate is almost non-existent now. But, I do speak to other ladies from time-to-time who have just started in the hobby, and their NCNS rate is close to 3 out of ever 5 guys will not show up (these are all BP calls). I think many of the guys call many numbers, haggle, and go with the best price they can find...some even call more than one gal, and whoever shows up first, is who they see, and stop answering their phone for the others.
But, I think there are still plenty of gents that do not seek out these activities, and know that although it may feel better, that the repercussions and consequences of such activities are too high.

You have guys who are used to getting ripped off by low class girls. Guys, especially in some areas, get to be very skittish because of continual busts in the news. This leads to a lot of no shows. Add in that many of the guys are seeing ads and find out that for x$ extra (as little as 50) some BP girl will BBFS w/ CIP even though it's not bright, and they'll go fill her up. I've had some seriously attractive girls viciously undercut each other, more than a few offered no cover for a small tip to try and get the business. I'll be honest, this isn't a Wisconsin thing because I've seen it repeated in Chicago, LA, NY, and SFO.
Guys have gotten rude because, quite literally, it's become more of a buyers market. The BP girls might be more trouble than they're worth 99 out of 100 time IMHO, but they are so desperate for clients it's not funny. I know of three friends who can tell you about girls who went from safe to very (very) unsafe to try and get / keep business. You want to know who your competition is? Let me tell you, it's those girls. They are training the guys to demand unsafe practices, to be rude about what they want. So what? You don't offer bare X, Y, or Z? You don't speak Greek? This other pretty young thing here does. I know one guy that pretty much tells girls he's looking for X and he has no problems finding it when he looks. He's not necessarily rude, but he is demanding. You don't do BBBJCIM he's not seeing you, he hasn't fallen for the BBFS cookie yet. I told him that was even less intelligent than picking up the local bar girls that open for a new guy every week and so far (well, he says anyway) he hasn't done anything that stupid.
Yeah, I know they're dumb. It's bad enough in my mind when the protection fails, but to actively not use it? Dumb. Apparently there's a surplus of young and dumb girls waiting to be filled up.
