Recently, I've been declining having sex with "regular" civvie girls at the bars because they did not meet my standards in terms of looks and being able to socialize "normally". Yes, believe it or not, I'm a professional person outside of this hobby if that is hard to believe. So, I kinda expect the same thing from a civvie girl if she's able to maintain a "normal" conversation without it getting awkward.  

If you ask me this same question five years ago, I would say "if she looks decent, then I would fuck her and I could care less how the conversation went." Now however, that's not my perspective. I've been feeling like this for the past few months and was curious if any other guys out there feel this same way?

These girls know that when they see me at the bar, then they know that I'm only looking for one thing, and that's sex with the NSA. I've been a companion for 7 years, and of course I try to date. Try being the operative word.  I've always had a 'for love or money' attitude about sex and if I wasn't a companion I wouldn't get laid. however your expectations may be. I think the hobby has accustomed us to some specific standards that the "civvie" girls are not aware of / used to / or down with. I guess my point is that being in the hobby has defined standards that we all enjoy and have agreed upon as a community. Because there is the supply and demand of of any other economy, demand has moved to providers being shaved and not annoyingly running their mouths and so that's what providers are offering. I think that this is MUCH different than the perception of "civvie" girls who think they can do what they want (i.e. - not shave downstairs and run their mouths) and guys they give it up to are lucky to be getting it.    

If you are already getting laid by high-quality attractive providers, I am not surprised that you are turning down "regular" girls... nor do I necessarily blame you. However, your bar for regular girls may be too high. I would be very surprised if most regular girls shaved downstairs. I have 3 regular girls for sisters and I would be really surprised if ANY of them shaved their box on the regular. I think it's just not in that "porn" mentality that we guys like to do so. IMO your expectation for regular girls should be that they are not shaved and will talk a lot. Depending on how hot they are will determine whether you are willing to put up with that and then if they are shaved or don't talk too much then BONUS for you! If they are not hot enough or cool enough to deal with that baggage, then so be it!

Not sure how to answer the question, but it does raise your standards and not put up with BS from hot girls.  As in they want to cut in line with a smile, for example, and you reply you can wait...knowing you have a gorgeous woman waiting for you in an hour.  The look on their face, priceless, when they don't get what they want by using their looks.

The hobby has definitely changed my perspective on dating.

The dating scene is pretty much controlled by chicks if you really think about it.  They choose if you're worthy of their attention.  And if you're worthy, then they'll decide whether they want to sleep with you.  And if they want to sleep with you, then they'll determine when that happens.  In the meantime guys have to initiate everything...phone calls, emails, texts.  The guys also pay for everything while the chicks are figuring out what they want to do with you.  Essentially women are both the rulesmakers and the umpires of the game.  It's a not a game that's designed for guys to win.  

The great thing about the hobby is that I don't have to play the game unless I want to.  I don't have to spend time chasing a chick I don't really click with or I don't think is attractive enough for my tastes.  I am now much more selective.  I don't miss putting on a brave face at a dinner table listening to some selfish idiot ramble on about nonsense in the hope that I may get some at the end of the night.  I only see/date chicks that I can connect with emotionally.  

Until that happens I am content with mind blowing sex with a pretty young thing who knows what she's doing between the sheets.  It also doesn't hurt that I can have fun with almost any ethnicity, body type, age range whenever I want
