When I date in real life, I don't waste my time with NSA encounters. I seek to meet a like-minded individual that is looking to love and respect me. What's the use of giving it away free to some loser at the bar, gym, or grocery store? I'm a business owner, a single woman, a multifaceted professional in every sense of the word, and I get to choose what hat I put on when I encounter men. Agreed, hobbying did change my perspective on the NSA, one night stand. After hobbying it became obvious, why bother chasing around for that. however your expectations may be. I think the hobby has accustomed us to some specific standards that the "civvie" girls are not aware of / used to / or down with. The dating scene is pretty much controlled by chicks if you really think about it. They choose if you're worthy of their attention. In the meantime guys have to initiate everything...phone calls, emails, texts. The guys also pay for everything while the chicks are figuring out what they want to do with you. Essentially women are both the rulesmakers and the umpires of the game. It's a not a game that's designed for guys to win.
The great thing about the hobby is that I don't have to play the game unless I want to. I don't have to spend time chasing a chick I don't really click with or I don't think is attractive enough for my tastes. I am now much more selective.
