Has anyone had any personal experience (not second hand unless you know it to be accurate) with any of the dozen or so exotic vacation operators in the Caribbean, Central America and Mexico? There have been a few posts on and off on the General board going back a few years but none with any good intel on anything besides the Viking Resort (someone got genital herpes). PM me with anything you can.

On a different note, I have moved from Baltimore to eastern Ohio, having taken a teaching position at a university here (Go Redhawks!!). Be grateful for the wonderful hobbying opportunities you have in the Balto - DC area. You are blessed with many beautiful providers both inside and out. I will miss all the ladies with whom I have spent quality time with.  There are few (very few......and I do mean VERY few) ladies here who compare, even marginally. I may actually have to (GASP) start dating again for real!

I have had on MANY occasions that Brazil is the best place to travel too because the women are beautiful and its also inexpensive compared to the US. And you also get more time for your $.
I believe the only downside may be the security factor

I have a close friend that visited the Viking Resort for several days. He said it was for real, the girls were hot and it was a nice resort.

That said, the same friend visited Brazil with me and said there was no comparision. In Brazil there are beautiful ladies everywhere and for a very low price and a little effort you can hook up with a 9 or 10 every day (or several a day if you prefer).

My thought is if you can have an almost unlimited choice in ladies at very reasonable prices why would you go where the cost are much higher and your choices are limited.

ohhh Brazil....the best place

for you guys...I know there are lots of tourist oriented upscale beachfront hotels, in Copacabana and Ipanema, where you have the choice of "packages", meaning...with your stay and included in the hotel rates you have the choice of a girl for the day.
Also, women can smell and see that you a tourist looking for fun...just grab your towel and lotion, lay on the beach in front of your hotel and soon you will be flirting with a bunch of women.
On the security issue, Rio de Janeiro is beautiful but also a dangerous place to walk alone IF you don't know the city. Is better if you go with a friend, or know some brazilian who can show you where is safe to go.

Who would have guessed that the race would be this close back in May! The Yanks looked like they needed a DNR (Do Not Resuscitate)order posted on their locker room door!I don't know how the Yankees are doing it but it looks like they WILL be in it until the end. Maybe this off season they will take the time to get younger and stronger, not pricier and more star studded. Thanks to all the guys who have given me pointers, advice and all around entertainment over the last year and change!

Know how they got rid of it, jigg?  They GAVE it to the Orioles (upon whose locker room it NOW resides).  Best of luck in your new (and lonely) pursuits.  BTW, although I know where your allegiance still lies, what team do they pull for out there?  The Pirates, Indians, or Reds?

The wonderful ladies of Brazil will find you if you make yourself available. There is also not this age hang up we have in the US, no one looks twice at a 40 something holding hands with a 20 something.

You are also right about security. Once someone explained where I could go and where I should not go, I have felt very safe walking around Rio.

Cincinnati is the closest city of any size. I assume that means the Reds.

Don't know much about the Reds this year.  Probably not a lot of super stars.  If the O's keep up at their current pace, they will probably become two very similar teams.
