It just takes some effort and self control on your part.  The most important thing is stop actively looking for opportunities to hobby. Cut any sites related to hobbying off your daily life.   Once you stop looking you will find yourself thinking less and less about it.  And you will have to try to spend more time with your gf. Do more outing with her. Just find things that you can do together to occupy your time.  It's very similar to treating people with CBD compulsive buying disorder.    But before you start, ask yourself will you care if she finds out your little dirty secret. If the answer is no, then dont even bother with it because you are bound to fail. You are just not serious about what you have with her. In that case just keep on hobbying and don't feel remosed.  You need to have the right person in order to have enough motivation to have a chance to succeed in this. It is going to be a very very difficult battle. Because You are going to find excuses to justify your action and the temptation is so high you will never make it to the other end of the bridge.

Civvy monogamous relationships have near impossible to stay faithful to ever since the hobby.  

Ever since the hobby, I can't seem to be able to keep my dick in my pants
even when I'm dating a civvy girl.

I have completely lost it and have zero remorse hobbying simply because it is so fulfilling and fun... not to mention the thrill/excitement involved in doing something one isn't really supposed to do. The LE involvement also makes it more risky and hence adds a bit more "rush" to it.

What I'm curious about is, as addictive as the hobby can be... has anyone successfully been able to transition back to a normal civvy relationship and stay faithful for longer than several months?

Very difficult for me to stay faithful longer than 2~3 weeks lol. Maybe the Civvy scene isn't meant for me. Maybe I'll be happier finding a bi-girl or an open-minded girl so we can hobby together lol

You can always find a bi girl who can hobby together with you, but you might still end up cheating on her if you go outside of the relationship and decide to see a provider just by yourself. Just because you are in a relationship with a bi girl doesn't necessarily mean that you will stick to rules of the relationship.

I would say, just follow your heart and hobby to your heart's content.  You sound like someone who doesn't have problem getting girls. You can always jump back into relationship, when you are "truly" tired of hobbying.

the hobby is a road, that once traveled to can be very difficult to turn back on. I have seen it over and over again, and I put myself in the hobbyists shoes all the time......
real life is full of problems and issues, and "easy" sometimes is a welcome deterrence. Sex in the real world is littered with all sorts of relationship issues and dramas. Sex in the hobbyist world is black and white and very simple....and  phone call away.
Its our animalistic brain that takes over and wants a break from all that. How wonderful is a vacation in hawaii when we live in brooklyn? Yes its expensive and no its not our real life....but do we care as we are diving into blue waters and laying on the beach? Dont we miss it as we are sitting at our desks a few weeks later with a pile of paperwork and a barrage of phone calls?
The hobby is like that trip to hawaii except its cheaper, can be done on our lunch hour and no one knows you have just escaped. They only know you seem happier when you get back.

Hobnying isn't something I would consider something we aren't supposed to do. IMO we live each day to the fullest because it's OUR life. It's a shame some people are out there trying to ruin the party!
If u find someone you love, and I mean love bs. Lust, u may end up so happy with her tht you never even have the desire to lay your eyes on another female if the relationship is soooo great.  However, really? We are all human here. It's in our nature to ne freaks!

I try to be open-minded in all aspect of life including relationship dynamics. Firstly within a relationship I believe that there should be honesty, good intentions, and genuine care for the other person.

If you find that hobbying is that satisfying and rewarding to you, then maybe it is right for for you. Now, the difficult part may be in finding a civvie girl who is comfortable and understanding of that part of you. Also, there would need to be some sort of understanding between the two of you to avoid feelings of hurt, neglect, jealousy, etc. It's not impossible, I don't think, but a difficult and unconventional path at the least...
