I think you're asking if (/telling us) the market is expanding on both sides and asking whether #metoo is responsible?

I have literally no experience with PV/FBSM so I cannot speak to that. I do think that there are undoubtedly more women entering and leaving the business. Every month there's a somewhat high profile newstory, show, website, etc. namechecking TER or escort directories and leaving breadcrumbs for the curious. As to competition on price? The high end has expanded but the fact that many women are still at the 300/350 an hour for "FS" mark which was standard 5 years ago says prices are pretty steady in my book? And I've seen women who've been in the business for 10+ years say that prices are absolutely the same or lower than previous years. I'm curious what PV prices have risen to over the years?

And if the breadcrumbs are being left for those interested in dipping a toe in the business, of course they are equall y available for those curious about indulging in the ultimate NSA. This Trump porn star thing? Defff got people looking into how to hire a porn star. I'd bet money on it.

As for #me too? Good. If everyone learned to not date/fuck their coworkers/bosses/anyone in their office the world would be a better place. I'm very sad that you no longer feel comfortable telling the woman down the hall your off color dick joke...just kidding. Good. Having been on the receiving end of that, it's about time YOU feel uncomfortable too. And if the end of that causes more patronizing of us? Win-win honestly.

I am curious, it seems the PV/ FBSM world is expanding.  I'm seeing ever more AMP's despite the notorious shortcomings of the service to $ available in NVA and MD for them.  Lots of independent Thai girls suddenly flooding the zone.  And more and more American women, white and black, hotties to MILF to, uh, just middle aged, entering the biz,  But only a modest competition on price, with the Thai girls offering services below the previous market standard.   So that would indicate expanded demand keeping pace with the supply... I guess there are lots of men in the DC metro with lots of "stress" to be drained.  So are there suddenly more guys out getting their nut in the pay to play market?  Not sure about the escort side of things, but my vague impression is that it has expanded too.

Wonder about the cross fertilization with the #MeToo hysteria as more and more guys become afraid to ask a female coworker on a date lest they end up homeless.   As sex and flirting becomes ever more  state supervised via Title IX, it becomes ever more transactional and contractual?

I have also noticed the same uptick. Compare the number of ads on this and other hobby sites to 5 or 10 years ago. Maybe some of it is the transfer from low cost media markets to the ones on TER, etc. AMPs seem to be multiplying on every corner in every town these days. I wonder if they really are just massage parlors or bordellos operating in plain sight. I am not an AMP guy, so I don't know.

Companies, military and govt agencies now have non-stop classes on sex harassment, safe zones, special HR people to deal with feelings. The barrage of posters, fliers, emails about "see something/say something" about harassment must have many workers walking on egg shells, hoping to not offend someone. But there is always that one guy who is a bull in china shop that is the poster child for this METOO situation.

The media with movies like Pretty Woman that plays daily, and TV shows like GFE, are making it seem like everyone is hobbying and it is ok, normal even.  Where as in the past, it was a sin, and people would burn an A into your chest or stone you. (well they still stone you in certain arab countries).

I am not happy with the ever increasing cost. Inflation. The cost of gas goes up, the cost of hotels goes up, but my pay is not. So people like me have to decrease my frequency and be more selective. I wish I could afford the $1000+ an hour former porn star model, but that is unrealistic.

Hope I answered your post reasonably with out too much controversy.

So while women in the office  become ever more virginal prudes running to the fainting couch or the HR legal department if a coworker asks them out to for a drink, and yet more and more women are working as Hookers instead.  One group demands nobody ever think about their vagina, the other rents it out to the general public, all resulting from the same cultural movement.

When your new in town work is how you meet people unless you never left your high school town.

Also, a good percentage of people meet spouse at work. You know they are verified & decent people....not same risk as online rando.

Problem is women coming back 10yrs later talking consentual but feeling they didn't have a choice & it becoming a smear campaign.

So in the end I they receive extra services they might as well have seen an independent provider. They certainly see more traffic of clients.

I've always said the rental program is the way to go. Why risk your job, your career, your spouse with an affair or lawsuit in-house. I guess at the end of day Matt Lauer still has a shit ton of money as does Weinstein and most of the Rogues gallery.

That being said, rental program didn't work out for Spitzer, but he was an idiot about it.

I think guys are weighing the options. Upon investigating the choices discovering pay-for-play is a viable and cost effective choice. Compared to divorce, losing their security clearance, losing job, sexual harassment suit, paying up front is far cheaper than paying later.

As far as pricing. The young tall thin blonde hair blue eyed blonde, or young gorgeous big boobed spinner will always pull a premium. "Immigrants" i.e. Russians and Asians at agencies will be on the lower end of pricing. Agencies make profits through volume, independents have more costs associated with them, so have to make it up in pricing.

Personally, I tend to agencies because of the hassle factor. Too often independents flake, screening takes way too long, and the price differential isn't always worth it. With a quality agency, I'm pre-screened, avoid NCNS, and don't have scheduling issues.

I'll date a 'name' brand every now and then just for the novelty. I don't need a Ferrari convertible to drive to work, but on the weekend its fun to rent and go for a spin. Every day use, a Lexus is just fine. I turn the key, it starts and goes. No fuss no mess.

"Independents tend to flake"....
Yes, starting to see that myself. Never have that issue with an agency.
