As someone new to posting on this board and on my way to being a regular poster, I just have one question. I have seen that obviously some providers read this board, do any, most, or none of them know who you are on this board when you go see them?

Yes, some providers will know who you are.

... it is because you tell them, I think.  My limited experiences is that most of them see a lot of men and don't have the time or inclination to connect the dots between postings/reviews and visits.  Oddly, I have been surprised at the number of them who don't read reviews and posts because they take the negative comments rather personally.  One would think they might be hardened a bit to that.

If you don't tell them during "the preliminaries", the provider network might anyway.  Even if you don't give it up when you get there, they can generally piece it together once you post the review (assuming you do).

Ponzone is right. Dara figured me out easily with my review even though I never told her my handle.

Ponz is right !!!!!!!! lol
If they don't know before hand..or find outbefore hand.. many find out after the fact of the review being posted..

This place has always had a slightly more anonymous feel then other boards, which is kind of nice.  Things stay in focus, and the white knights and shills, are seemingly able to exercise some self control.

So honestly, I don't care if they know who I am or not.  If they want to know, I'll tell them.  It's no big deal to me.

...yours is hardly the representative sample.

I am sure they would all know Elvis, too, if he walked through the door.

I am assuming depending on your reviews, that can have a negative effect as much if not more than a positive one.

...if she doens't like my board personality, she won't like the "real" me any better -- so screening me out would save her time and me money.

So you do see a value in letting her screen you ahead of time? That was my real question. Should I bring it up, and address it if it is brough up.

I am taking it that your opinion is to bring it up yourself.

Despite what is said, the main purpose of screening is to try and minimize the risk of an encounter with LE, axe murderers, and all-around dickheads.  You're not going to see what kind of personality most people have based on a few e-mail messages as anyone can fabricate an alternate personality for e-mailing purposes.

Getting to know someone via e-mail or phone chat beforehand has rarely made any difference in how well I get along with someone.  In fact, most of my more memorable encounters were with girls I never even spoke to until I walked through the door for the first appt.

Let me know when and where, and I will do my best to make it.

Some ladies don't like to see TS's in your review list. Just some FYI.

It all depends on your reviews. If you have a history of slamming a provider unfairly or too explicit, some will NOT see you. It all depends on the provider and how you write your reviews. You can't please everyone.

When you let men with breast implants fuck you, you are engaging in high risk behavior.  Support should never remove tranny reviews because it's a higher than normal risk, and the ladies do have a right to know.

Maybe that's one reason why many of us have less reviews.  For me, that is one of many reasons (the latest being having one approved and then being pulled down [without my input] by a provider challenge).

I used to be that way myself, MB.  However since being DNS'd, I intend to conduct my future endeavors a bit differently.  Believe me, a single DNS can seriously affect your date card with new providers.

as MB stated the ladies have a right to know if engage in that type of behavior. I wouldn't post anymore TS reviews if you want to see ladies on this board.

Nor did I.  The entire content was related to what happened in session, was truthful, and accurate.  One or two things "struck a cord" with her, and she felt they would adversely affect her business.  Well daaah.  However, they were precisely the things which our fellow TER hobbyists deserved to know, and were fully appropriate in that context.  My challenge of her challenge has been referred to Dave in California, and is still pending.  I'm not losing sleep waiting for its resolution.

BTW, I have received numerous pm's from various guys on the DC board who have seen her, basically expressing their agreement with the content of the review.  They saw it in the four days that it was up, before it was pulled down.

The obvious irony is that her challenge has probably caused a LOT more attention around here (likely adverse), than if she had just left it alone.  In doing the latter, it would have just been another review.  BTW, it really wasn't all that bad.  A 6-6 for a FBSM is not out of line when one considers that the maximum performance score they can get under TER criteria is a 7 (or an 8 under exceptional circumstances).  Apparently some other reviewers were very liberal in their scoring, and she had gotten used to it.  I mentioned her good points in the review, as well.
