Why providers do not provide a location??

Why is it that many times providers do not tell their location when one calls? I understand that they should not tell the exact address but at least a near intersection is enough.
I called a provider once and kept telling me that she was in Rockville, the problem is that Rockville MD is a big area. Sometimes, they tell you that they are on a certain avenue like Connecticut Avenue. An intersection should be mentioned... I usually like to plan the trip before heading out. That way one knows where one is going before getting lost.
Many times the area is not familiar and they expect you to drive randomly. By the time one gets to the area and is lost, they tell you where it is.

I mean, if they think it is LE, They don't get stock with addresses, they could probably track your cellphone signal, like in the movies.

I don't understand why you need an exact intersection. Saving 5 minutes is not that big of a difference.

I agree... a round-about location is fine by me... asking for anything more specific is certainly within the discretion of the lady to whom are speaking though!

You should try Manassas.  The zip code goes almost to I-95.
