Why do we make suggestions?

I notice lately that there are a number of people who post a message saying they are from out of town looking for this or that.

How do we know they are who they say they are?  The suggestions we give could just be setting up a provider to be hit by LE.

I think we should respond to those suggestions by telling them how to access the directory or search function.

Unless they can prove they have some reviews I really think it is bad practice to start making specific suggestions to blind requests.

What do you think?

If the one inquiring has many reviews already, I usually try to help.

Well Jeopcon1 I am a VIP member.  And I have participated in these discussions.

However, I have not posted a review.  I just cannot bring myself to be so graphic about my visits.  So if you are not graphic then you don't get posted.  There is another Board on which I post reviews...they don't require as much detail.

So I guess it is where you look as to whether someone has participated or not.

Cheers...
