Whenever I go into DC...

If it is late evening I will go to parking garage. Otherwise I take the metro. Be careful because you can get locked out of some garages. That happened to me once and I was luckily able to find a security guard who was able to let me get my car and get back home to the wife, lol.

when seeing a girl who mysteriously chose to set up an incall in DC?

Or do you just take the metro after parking your car somewhere?

I hate driving in the city but I found that taking my car and parking at a low-cost public parking for 2~3 hours (with an online coupon that ends up being really cheap) costs about the same as parking my car at the metro and paying the metro fare. Maybe a few bucks difference at most which isn't worth the extra time spent taking metro...or am I missing some big metro discount somewhere?

Most providers are smart enough to set up close to metro.  I use to see a provider on capitol hill, so orange/blue line was much more convenient than any parking garage.  I basically hate the District and feel very unsafe almost anywhere in the city proper, so I'll take whatever mode means the least walking and exposure to danger.  I much prefer a suburban (MD or VA) location.

I love to take the Metro when going downtown except for hobbying. I hate to get my balls all swaety by the time I get to the incall. Besides, if I am on the train when I massage my package to improve circulation, I may get arrested.

So I drive depending on the location and the time of day.

Where do you get on-line coupons.

had luck with street parking. Now these have been early am appointments on Sunday mornings . It's a different world then noon on a weekday.

Are you really that terrified of DC? I'm not mocking you, I'm being totally serious in my query...I love DC, it's my preferred choice for dining and nightlife and rarely feel unsafe. A fight broke out once after a Nats game at Metro Center while changing train which was interesting, and on an ill advised night a few years back my buddy and I got off at Navy Yard and walked to the old Nexus Gold Club...I probably wouldn't have done that if I had known the area before hand. But now walking around that same area after a Nats game is fine as is most of DC. Guess I'm just curious as to what you find to be dangerous?

Regarding the OP's question, it's not a cost issue regarding parking vs Metro; if that 10-15 bucks is really that big of an issue you are in the wrong game. Metro is obviously the easy way in and out of the District unless the lady of your choice is in Georgetown (and even then you take the Metro to Rosslyn and spend 5 bucks on a cab). Also factor in the time of day you are going to see the lady, in the middle of the day or after 8 if she is around say Thomas Circle driving will be much faster to get in and out. If it's closer to 6pm then Metro is the choice.

Though I hate driving in DC, I really don't want to take Metro when hobbying. My sessions have either been at 10:00 AM or after 6:00 PM, and never more than two hours, and I've always found on-street parking within a block or two.

1) I try to avoid anything with more than a very comfortable degree of mystery (for example, is she actually a 9 or a 10?).

2) I usually drive.  I figure the cost of parking is just part of the expected expense.  I prefer street parking to garage parking but will do either.  I never go anywhere in DC where I don't feel perfectly comfortable on the street.  I try to leave plenty of time to find a spot.  Driving a private car also supports some other OPSEC and hygiene practices.

3) The only down sides to driving (besides driving) I'm aware of are the speed cameras on Connecticut  ;-)

Usually if I am seeing a lady downtown it will be a late afternoon appt. After our romp I tend to have a couple glasses of wine , maybe even a bite to eat before I head home.  Makes for a nice little break in my hectic life. Plus , by the time I'm back to my car  traffic has thined out and any wine buzz I might have is gone.
