Some travelling independent providers want confirmation from a reference service:  Date-Check, P411, or TER White List.  Because I normally use agencies or develop an ATF I haven't troubled to get approved.

If you end up in mid-west, they use R2SK more than anything. So you should be fine with either ones. I personally like P411, as the site is easy to navigate and clean - unlike DC which appears to be slapped together by college kids during their spring break.  

I am a member of both. While DC is less organized from a hobbyist standpoint, the ladies prefer it because they have the ability to rate the hobbyist, rather than just an OK that they have seen them on P411. So, my recommendation is to maintain both, if possible.
And, a lifetime membership option is available on P411 also, just way more expensive.

But that being said.... Why do I want to support something that rates me.. lol. Shouldn't it be the other way around where I get to rate provider since I am the one paying. Sure if they want to exchange info amongst themselves, they can AND MANY TIMES do back channel. That's one less reason to go DC route if I ever have to...

Contact any providers you have seen and ask them to be a reference for you . . I believe P411 also takes you through a employment verification which totally confidential. Write reviews on TER, beef up your profile and treat like you would your resume, keep it up to date with recent references and guard it with your life

Is that there's no mechanism to purge retired/obsolete profiles. The NoVA list is full of women who have been out of the biz for years. I like P411 because you can see when a provider last logged in, so you can tell who is still active.

Ask a provider with whom you are a very good client.

I prefer P411 and date-check.

Member to both DC and P411.  I am finding recently that most don't respond to a request, period.  After the fact I get a lame email saying my request got caught in their spam file.  Really?  My email comes from the website!  Piss poor business practices which have left me outside looking in more than not.   I have retreated back to my favorite Agency or Indies.

I definitely agree, TER Whitelist is nice, but certainly not enough.  Some gentlemen get SO offended when you tell them that you need more information than that.  Sorry boys! Safety first  

Has always worked well for me and I was pleasantly surprised at how discreet and unobtrusive the work screening was. The search functionality on the site could be better but overall a very good option.
