That means you guys have to stop trying so hard to get us girls to visit unless you are willing to book and go through with it!

Two meetings in 2 days. At least we know the guys who saw you had it nice and fresh. BWI is great. I have seen a few providers at BWI. The problem is that you also have locals who have regulars that visit BWI. There is alot of competition. ALso this time of the year is bad, lots of people are on vacation.

If you check out craigslist there are some providers who charge $$.50 or $$$ and they are lowering prices to $ or $.50. One of the providers said she had to go down to $ because of the competition she was charging $$$

Clearly this is an issue for both clients and providers and has been a topic hundreds of times. Cancellations, no shows or just no response. All this, and we could have been under the umbrella in the "monsoon season". That was a hell-of-a rain Thursday night.

No problem I am an understanding person. I'll catch you some other time I guess. Just be careful of calling the kettle too black.

BWI/Inner Harbor are both long trips for some of us. Those MD guys that pollute the air with there cars should be a shame of there selves. Driving a car around the beltway.. Shame on you guys for using your cars to get around. This is anti- Virginian now please start using "mass transit"..lol

that this is my second scheduled trip there - the first one - everyone but one person cancelled (that meant 3 cancellations, basically last minute).  THAT is what frustrates me.  The fact that the same people who are cancelling are those that turn any thread I post about DC into a thread about BWI, that irritates me too.  

Hope that clarifies what I meant.

That is great that you can see a girl for $.50 whoopee, but if the guys arent willing to dish out the $$$, why do they latch on to the DC girls threads to visit the area?

Some of the visiting girls go for $.50 or $ on certain days. They are not always of high quality and everything is not on the menu at those prices.

You should have a minimum of 2 hours so that the hotel costs are covered. I think the dc market is saturated. There was another provider who tried to charge $$$$$$ for 2 hours and she had to drop her price back to $$$$$. The market dynamics have changed.

I was able to get a better deal with a well know provider for a multi hour appointment. Because I was willing to see her at pre-review prices, the prices got locked in. One time I was able to get a discount and only paided $$$$$ for 4 hours. That price included all languages, GFE, etc.

What is really sad is that so many guys cancelled.

If you look at the link I posted, that provider who normal rate goes for $$$. The pricing pressure is so bad that she had to go down to $. She has pretty good reviews.

Also remember it is the end of the month. People have to pay bills and providers will offer discounts to make ends meet sometimes.

Here is a provider that charges $$.50 and is now doing $.50. This was yesterday and today. Good reviews. Suprising to see such low prices in Norther n Expensive Virginia.

sorry if I put my words in a wrong way, it was not my intention.
Some places takes a while for a provider get a steady following. Example...when I started to go to KOP in PA was horrible.
First day of my visit, everyone canceled on me and I had a 4 days planned stay at that time. I switched to "plan B" and check out of KOP hotel and went to my other incall location.
I didn't give up, couple months later I did try again, business was a bit better but not great and I tried again and again. Now, KOP is one of my steady incall places.
Is hard to establish clients in certain areas, sometimes the time of the year or how many girls are visiting the same week also influences how business will develop.
My post was to point that BWI guys are very nice and faithful clients, once you get to know them and they get to know you.

I deal with it. And I try to resolve or improve what I did wrong.
Is part of our business to have no shows and cancelations. I do not come online to complain about it, I come online and post my availability when that happens and 4 out of 5 times I find someone who is willing to take the time slot I have.
I know is very frustrating when you foot hotel, flight and other expenses expecting a certain return and that doesn't happen.
Is part of being an escort...gain & loss. Good days, so so days and bad days.
Now, if a place doesn't do well after you try 3 or 4 times, then move on and find another. Or just go there once in a while.
We cannot rely on what guys post online, begging us saying "why don't you come here?"...usually these guys never book with you. You need to reach the lurkers, those are your bread & butter.
I've been in this business for a while and I did learn a whole lot because I did lots of mistakes when I started.
I hope to meet you too Deanna our mutual client also told me about you and showed me your site.
Maybe I will take a trip to your area once, just for the kicks.

I came to DC last year in August and got ripped off the first time i came I got stood up but there are the ones that are my real friends and the really great new guys i meet when I come back that make it worth it.. When I travel I have learned to get a few sponsers to help make the trip more fun and less expensive for me.. that way I do not have so much overhead and at least I know ill get me a nutt outta the trip lol..
on another note you should come to atl.. work on you some sponsors.. maybe our mutual friend will help out lol.. or maybe we will both be in the dc area at the same time..

I will not be giving BWI another chance, because if you look at what mpduration has to say - I need to drop my rates to visit?  Look forward to last minute cancellations and other set backs - only to build up a clientele not willing to pay my regular rates?!  Hell NO!  

I am not a last minute gal - I am not the girl you call up one morning to see her that afternoon - it is not my style.  I have plenty of great friendships in DC - with whom I believe I share a special bond with (don't correct me into reality please) so why bother?

Am I complaining, yes! And the next time someone posts that I should come to BWI when I am announcing a visit to DC - well, I am going to be pissed off - however there in nothing I can do about (cripes).

Betty, you may not mind lowering your rates, or taking last minute appointments, but that is not me, and I have never come off like that... thus, my remark.  I didn't take it as an insult, just accepting that fact that we are both different and have a different set of rules.

I admire your atittude and the way you set your rules. Is your own business and no one knows it better than YOU, right?
But, the majority of men seeking for our services do not have time to plan in advance and they have a job and a family to juggle so they can find a way to enjoy our company for a hour or so. I do get lots of calls from regular clients asking if I have some time to see them. If I'm booked, I do offer to call back in case I get a cancelation. Is that wrong? I don't think so, is just common sense.
Also, not all guys have tons of disposable income either. Or if they have the extra money, they need to explain what happened to it at home.
That's why sometimes we have cancelations...a last minute meeting, the wife changed her plans or a kid got sick. Shit happens with every one of us. It's life.
As a "providers", we need to acommodate to our clients needs and not the other way around.
I guess you don't have a hubby & kids, but it's Summer...kids are off school, vacation time, more personal expenses in our clients lives. Less disposable income at this time of the year.
Reducing my rates or offering something extra or special is not going to lower my reputation or the quality of my services.
I do it because I can...I enjoy offering a token of appreciation to my clients for the business they give me during the year. Is that wrong too? I don't think so, the same guys will see me again at my normal rates too.
And you are right...we are very different, but we are in the same boat, seeing the same clients.

Yes there is a lot of hit and miss. Sometimes you will see providers advertise at more reputable places. There have been some postings about LE crackdowns on that site. Something low could be something compromised for a LE sting.

Thanks Betty, for the counter point of view.  In addition to you, there are several providers and agencies who are now regularly touring at BWI.  They include Missy, BDJ, and Miami Companions.  Some DC Indies tour up here as well, on a regular basis.  Angie Renee told me that she plans to return after her initial visit last month.  And yes, I thank YOU as well for being one of our regulars.
