Seems like it would only work where the client and provider see each other on a regular basis and there is a level of trust involved.  Probably would not work for an initial meeting, for reasons Vanica points out ...

I would like to hear what providers think about the guy paying for the session, in part, by using a visa gift card. A purchase of this type is pretty easy for us married guys to hide. Any comments?

If a guy wants to pay with a gift card (giving me the actually card with a balance), when he arrives, I have to check the balance on the card first, and make sure it's properly activated.

As well, I am not 100% sure, but don't you have to use cash to buy Visa/Amex gift cards? If so, why not just skip a step and give the cash directly to the girl .

However, are you suggesting you use a gift card in lieu of credit card?

I accept this practice BUT only in the instances where the gift card is an electronic card, and if it is a client I have seen previously. Meaning something like an Amazon GC, where once you purchase the GC it alerts me to my email and lets me know I have a credit with them. Otherwise I have to agree with Ms. Love it's more of a hassle. I mean what is the difference of explaining to your S/O why you purchased someone a XXX amount GC vs. just taking the money out of your account cash?? A gift is a gift right? Hell they even make nifty little cash cards now for people who want to give the gift of cash.

I usually feel more comfortable if I have seen the gent before or if he can give me 2 refs.
I always check the balance when I receive them.
But other than that I dont really mind!!
I receive alot of them at Holiday times. Its just easier for some gents. Very understandable!

sure visa gift cards are completely acceptable i mean its the same as cash...watch out for some of the girls that dont accept them...that means they need the cash for something..drugs,pimp..etc...
