I prefer to let the lady play her preference, because I want her  comfortable, but on a few occasions I have brought a little to set a mood. Three CD’s I can recall were, Puccini in Love, Francis Cabrel, Samedi Soir sur la Terre, and Shakira, Pies Descalzos.  
I have found on a few occasions when the rhythm was right I would be stroking to the music, nothing like a horizontal tango.
