Unless your using an API, no issue.

I don't know this, but my guess is that you'd have to be using one of their APIs to reach the numbers in their cap. Even on a heavy "down the rabbit hole" day for me on twitter, I'm not actually clicking on 600 messages.

If you're not aware, "...billionaire owner Elon Musk tweeted that the site has applied temporary limits β€œto address extreme levels of data scraping and system manipulation.”

Verified accounts are limited to reading 6,000 posts a day, he tweeted, while unverified accounts are limited to just 600. New unverified accounts are at 300 posts a day."

I get quite a few clients from my Twitter feed so I'm wondering if this is going to affect my business. Any of you tweet and if so, have you met providers via Twitter?

I posted a survey about this on my Twitter feed. I think Elon also made it necessary to log into Twitter now instead of just lurking, so sorry if that happens to you πŸ™„

I replied to you there with some information.

This is temporary and due to data "scraping" that's going on. I posted a tweet from an IT guy that goes into some detail.

I'm a pretty big Twitter user and have yet to run into any caps.

Yes they need to get a handle on indentifying the bots and also how to blaock them in the future.

I've checked on both my mobile devices and I was login challenged. (I dunno, maybe I am login challenged, but still)

Yes, just viewing! And if you check my poll, you will see that  36% of responses have already passed their limit and got the "try again later" message. Out of 120 votes, but still.

Still, I have yet to cross that threshold. Funny how differently we all use twitter, even though it's circling the drain in terms of content.

Content is no different from my POV.

I use it a lot and have yet to hit any limits via app.

If that's not enough.....then someone needs to get outside occasionally.
No wonder why "social influencers" make the obscene amount of money for doing NOTHING that they do

6000 is for verified (paid) accounts. 300 is the limit for free accounts which can easily be viewed just by scrolling (not sure if replies count as tweets but this is elon musk we are talking about so I'm sure it does).

This is just another example of the "enshitification" of the internet but its fine, its not like any of these social media services are actually important, it's time to go outside again.
