A true classic.

(disclaimer to the mangina police - don't analyze this too closely, that song just popped into my head for some reason, so I thought I'd work it here somehow!)

Prince - Darling Nikki is always the song I listen to while finishing up my makeup right before one of my boys is on the way up.

Sets my mood :)

I know. Slightly off topic.

Cheers

True story.

About 8, 9 years ago my ATF loved Norah Jones and she played her music all the time. She even sang along while I was on top pumping hard. One time I had trouble finishing and that was the song to which my ATF was singing along.

wow... norah jones is a great choice... her version of Turn Me On was the first song, in my mid 20s, that i ever did a strip tease for a boyfriend for, followed by Come Away with Me.  her music really lends itself to a slow, naughty, burlesque style of dance. she has such a smooth voice.  ah, the innocence of my 20s... norah jones memories... instant nostalgia.

funny what a song can bring to mind.

I go for the atmospherics of this song (from the 80s) as I'm driving home after an A1 session (I'm thinking of you Tamsen) . For some reason, it screams (or rather whispers) the intimacy of the experience to me

There are several versions I like. I first heard the song performed by The Motels but I really like the duet Ray Charles did with Natalie Cole.

While she's not in the area now I definitely works for me whenever TaeRa comes into town.
