Spent all day waiting for standby after foolishly missing my flight this morning.  Once in the air thought great I'll still get in just a little later than I thought....mind you I plan for such craziness by not booking anything on my travel day so I can be fresh and bubbly as I usually am...but the universe had different plans for today due to weather we had to land at a small airport outside of the large international airport I was suppose to be connecting though...not sure what is to happen yet...hope are still high I am not stranded over night, but either way I will get to my lovely second home and all the friends I hold dear to my heart!  Hopefully sooner rather than later!  But when I get to you please have kisses and hugs ready...I'll need them!

As a million miler on two separate airlines, been there, done that, bought the T-shirt. But, it is never fun, and can be exhausting and very stressful. My advice: a drink or two in moderation to mellow the nerves and try to arrive relaxed. And, good idea to never book on the day of your arrival. As a client, I have been burned doing that.

I'm safe and did get a bit of sleep last night...thank you for all the thoughts getting me here safe!  Now how bout those hugs and kisses...haha...

I feel your pain, no matter what I ALWAYS seem to find inclement weather! Or rather it finds me.  I can't count the number of times I've been delayed, cancelled, re-routed and frustrated!!  

Its usually when I connect thru Dallas!  I missed a whole day of a vacation cause I was stuck in that airport for 18hrs due to tornados....no more connections thru Dallas!  That place hates me!
