That being said, I typically don't reveal my real name. Even though on occasions, I've given my real name to Independents, but never ever ever ever to Agency owners.
Don't ever do that mistake no matter what the owners tell you.
when screening do you give your real first and last name ?
I always thought the reason they asked for a first and last name is to a background check , but I don't know. One lady actually didn't believe my real last name was what I gave her and it slowed down negotiating a date for a week or so. Need to change mine to John Smith.
Agree with abbtrader. With large number of reviews, escorts who can vouch for me and P411/Date Check accounts, I have more than enough screening chops to have to surrender my full name.
And, I can't recall the last time I was asked for it ...
I concur, once you get a material number of reviews, multiple Date Check verifications (especially from well verifiable indies), the need to provide a name is seldom an issue. But that said, to get to that point, I did give it to several indies, but only if I felt they were very well established. I've also had a few favorites who I gave it to after many visits - but I also knew their real name and viewed them as very trust worthy.

For some ladies it's part of their regular screening. It also may be required if the date is an outcall to a hotel. She may want to call the hotel to verify you are registered there before making the trip and wasting her time on a prankster. . Also if have the misfortune of staying at hotel at the same time as an uber dignitary security may ask the lady who she is there to see. This has happened to me in DC. Bottom line, if I don't feel comfortable giving my name to a lady then I won't book with her. That's part of my screening.
Ultimately, you must review your own risk exposures and hobby accordingly. There is nothing wrong with NOT giving your full name if it is not required by the lady. That's where verification sites come in handy.

I gave a fake last name to a visiting provider I was seeing for the first time. I also gave here references. She called me on it, because one of the references had my real last name. (What? Thought I was smarter than that.) We worked through it, references were good anyway, so she gave me a shot. Worked out great for everyone.
I respect the references & ID check. Given everything going on, the providers are taking the most risk.
