I am just wanting to know if the theme days are apreciated or just looked at as more ad forder on the board. I am asking since over the last week there has been what appears to me much contaversy over these posts. I am also asking because I have to change all my photos to be with-in guide lines for the theme day post. This is a lot of work and if they are not apreciated there is no reason to make the changes. So I am asking what are you honest oppinion of the theme day posts?

From a provider's perspective, I suppose attracting attention from potential new clients is always a good thing, so I can understand why you would want to post photos for theme threads ....

When I see new and imaginative work I really appreciate the investment that went into it.

When I've seen the same picture posted 5 or 6 times it gets old.  

I know it is a great expense to produce some of the artistic pictures, but to see the same shot week after week that has been on a provider's site for two years gets old.  

That is my honest reply Apple.

I don't mind them being there or anything, but I never read them.  I know they're allegedly for us guys' enjoyment, but I'm not buying it...we're on the *internet*, after all...there is limitless free porn available already, so I just can't see any guy deriving a lot of pleasure from these theme day photo threads.

If they don't seem to be bring you any additional business, then I'd say don't bother.

A pretty picture from a beautiful lady can always brighten my day. Thanks for the effort you all put into this.

Like others have mentioned, it is the same ladies with the same pics each week, over and over.  I simply ignore them now.  Also, some guys think that the ladies that constantly post on them may be desperate for business.  But, if they garner business, more power to you.  

..as it is way to discover a new lady (to you) or entice you if you have been teetering on the fence whether to take the plunge. New pics are always appreciated (Sophie Simone- what, you don't want to see those photos???- always makes my day!)

Gee- and the "coming to your area" ads- they're not self promotion?

Of course they are self promoting, but that should be part of the fun.  Also, agree that showing the same 2 or 3 photos every week, does get old, so....

Keep it fresh, keep it fun and lets not get caught up in whether they are self promoting, as they are, but so what!!!  I know that I enjoy them, so I vote to keep them and as best as possible, keep them fresh.

I think they are great - and I like the images. I get to see the ladies quickly and decide if I want to do further research - Keep it up ladies (sort to speak)

Of course it is to be used to bring in business and those that do not with to see the posts will skip the thread.

if there was a way to post different pics that would be cool, but that would probably take more time then someone would be willing to put in.

I for one read the thread, not for the pics, but to see how a person words the post. What I am trying to say is that for a person seeking the verbal exchange, and to see if there may be a click/connection, the words convey as much or more then the pictures.

I completely agree....I LOVE theme days!!!

Besides the awesome (and very exciting) visual images of beauty that the ladies take the time to share with us, the posting also give glimpses into the lady's personality.

It's acceptable in Florida and maybe a couple of other boards, but to have a theme every day is total overkill. They should be limited to once or twice a week.
Like others mentioned it is the same posters, same pics recycled.

Go to images.google.com and type in women in lingerie.  2.5 million results, most as good or better than Sophie's pics, and you can see the girls' faces!

"A picture is worth a thousand words". Indeed it does brighten my day too. And again, thanks to the lady's who participate.

I apreciate your comments and since it is a 50/50 split I will put the effort into editing my photos so I can post on the theme threads. I will put every effort into keping the photos fresh and exciting. The problem with some not using different photos is probably space constraints with Imagecoast. I have plenty of space for my images and I am having a new photo session in September and will have many new photos then.

for those who like to enjoy the idea of seeing pics from a woman they've either seen or hope to see, there is no comparison. Looking at Sophie's pics, you can relive a hot time of passion if you've seen her. Or let your imagination run wild as you plan to see her.

Provider pics are different than normal porn pics because there is the chance of meeting put into the equation.

I say keep the pics coming!

Being able to take pics when with a woman is a turn on, and having her edit them to her privacy level, and then seeing them on her site is even better. Makes me want to return again and again as I get new ideas for future pics.

Some of the responses make me wonder if the guys who don't appreciate the themed days desire TER to be their personal mens club. I certainly don't come here looking to improve my social skills with men,though I wonder about the motives of some of you, glowing with comradery in opposition to frequent Hot photos of women .
 If the ladies were not here, I would never bother to log in other than checking reviews.
I appreciate theme days ,especially so when the ladies post photos not available on their web site.

or even nude ladies whenever we feel the need.  Our viewing pleasure is right here at our fingertips.  BUT!  The pics we see here on TER are of ladies we can actually arrange see!  Or like you said, we can relive fond memories of one we have already seen.

I say to those who don't appreciate picture/theme day to ignore it.  It seems the majority (including myself) enjoy it.

You're an interesting lady Apple- I do admire you and very much enjoy your posts.  Provider to provider you exhibit a lot of thoughtfulness and more sense than the average bird.

As far as your question goes I very much appreciate you having asked it.  Some of us like to crop up in these threads from time to time because they do draw additional interest and can give a touring provider a read (albeit limited) of whether or not she should consider the market.  

With that being said they're certainly not the cornerstone of my business and I'm not especially invested in theme threads either way.  
Despite the fact that the answers seem to be down the middle I feel less inclined to participating in them now simply because they appear to be losing steam and grating on some nerves- but that's just me.  I'm also a provider who thinks that TER has a fundamental flaw in allowing provider participation and advertisement in the first place as it prevents honest, objective information exchange so I'd rather be especially cognizant of my own participation rather than force additional promotion at the cost of making clients weary.

Maybe the guys not in favor are just grumping after a long week at work.
If I go to the Toy store and there are Gay books to the right of the motion lotion,I don't look at them unless I wanted to. Would it be fair to deprive the other guys who desire those magazines just because I told the manager I didn't like them or I didn't feel like turning my head away.
This is a good place for a lot of us, other than the grumpy guys, to see the ladies in different outfits or partial bare, on theme days. Its also a great place to window shop since reviews are attached. I have made appointments with ladies I might not have found, if it hadn't been for theme day.
I hope you don't quit posting pics just because some guys are contrary. When I saw this photo below the first thing I thought of, was Wow She should  have made it a theme day.

When I wanted to see certain lady's photos, I would go to her web site. For the vast majority of the ladies who posted on the "theme threads", I've already seen their photos in their ads.

I also do enjoy your posts. I am also sorry to hear that you will not be participating in the theme days as you are a very beautiful woman and from what I have seen you have many photos to choose from. I am reading what the gentleman have replied a little different than I think you are.
  Here is what I am thinking the response indicates; about 20% of the gentleman just want to see or hear from us when they want as Quadseasonal stated with his reference to the Gentleman’s club.
  I think that 30% would like the theme days more if the we would take the time to make the photos exciting and different while also staying within the theme. Months before I arrived I was on the board reading and looking at the posts to get a feel for the boards. By doing this I was able to have my photographer do photos that would fit in the different themes. I also setup a paid Imagecoast account so I have virtually unlimited space to hold photos for display here. Where I made my mistake is I put my Apple logo on all of my photos which now has to be corrected to post on theme day threads.
  It seems that the remaining 50% like the threads and enjoy looking at whatever is supplied.
  I do hope that you would re-consider and contribute some of your original photos from time to time.
  On a personal note I do travel to Boston and NY every month. I will be at the NY Mixer if you are attending I would love to meet you.

...I feel that advertisement has largely choked the discussion boards and is causing them to die a slow death anyway.

I would likely reconsider if TER would revamp their new Beta release to contain regional boards specifically designated for advertisement- that would make me more more comfortable with the additional promotion of theme threads.

I do not attend NYC mixers but I do attend other private functions on occasion and I'm always available for a drink when you visit in Boston.

...but they don't do much for me.  As others have said, I can visit providers' sites, etc., when I want to see the pics and I can find porn all over the net.  The threads often seem like ad overkill.

I'd say you should ask your clients, both new and returning ones, if they appreciate the posts.  If so, keep it up.
