I was in England  with my SO last month. She being a literary type, we went to the British Museum to see the famous Reading Room. If you don't know, it's roughly analogous to our own Library of Congress. Tons and tons of first editions and whatnot.

She started purusing the stacks  and I was left to my own devices.

So I wandered around, and eventually came to a display case where...Lo!...there inside was a first edition of the original "Whoremonger's Almanac." This thing was printed in 1673, and it was found buried amid the rubble of a cellar that was excavated in London's East End a few years ago.

Being in a display case, I couldn't actually touch it and look through it. But it was open to one of those almanac-type pages that names things.



This particular page was listing and naming the various years. And I noticed that 2011 was named "The Year of the Blow Job."

I thought that was kind of interesting, but really paid it no mind. But then, in thinking about it recently, I realized that this has been an exceptional year in terms of blow jobs.

So I was just wondering what everyone else thinks...Was this a great year for blow jobs, or what? I mean, I've had more BBBJs to completion--and good ones, too--than I ever had before.

Mmmmm....as Frank Sinatra said, it was a very good year. For me, at least. Hope it was as good for you guys, too.
