I'm a bit of a boozehound (i sure do love a great cocktail or a nice glass of whiskey), so I was curious about the cocktail and drinking scene and DC.  Of course I'm privy to a few places, but I'd also love to know where you all go just to kick a few back.  

If you like Whiskey, there's a brand new place called Barrell on Penn Ave, Capitol Hill side, that is getting great early reviews.

If you enjoy a good Bourbon try Bowman Brothers, Distillery is located in Fredericksburg VA, I love thier Bourbon... They give free tours with samples if you get that far south!!
