I have been concerned about coming to the DC area but there is a major concern for girls safety in this area. Is this stuff tru or is it about a bunch of local girls making up rumors to keep the touring girls out of town.

Is there any proof or any girls that this happened to that can come out on the boards to say what happened to them.. Incall/ outcall/ where, what were the numbers of the LE'S and what verification did they use?

What did they show for ID?
Please let me know , I am sure a bunch of people would like to know!

Thanks so much!

There are a couple of people screaming chicken-little stories, but no one I've seen has found any published accounts - and in this election year, no such event is going to go unreported for long.  As an example, 31 men were busted in Richmond one night last week, and while it was a relatively small-town event, it made the state's papers and all the TV stations.  In other words, take all the recent noise about DC with a grain of salt... maybe several.

A three-day undercover operation that targeted solicitation for prostitution resulted in the arrest of 33 men last week.

Police said that between May 19-21, female police officers posed as prostitutes along Jefferson Davis Highway. The decoys were approached by men who requested sex in exchange for money. After the men made the request, nearby undercover officers who provided security for the female officers moved in and took the men into custody.

Those arrested were charged with soliciting for prostitution and the use of a vehicle while soliciting for prostitution. If convicted of soliciting for prostitution, subjects are required by state law to submit to an HIV test and must participate in counseling about HIV and its transmission.

Thirty-three men were arrested, resulting in a total of 63 charges. The breakdown of the charges is as follows:

32 - solicitation for prostitution

29 - use of a vehicle for solicitation of prostitution

1 - procurement of a prostitute

1 - possession of a concealed weapon

Chesterfield County Police will continue these types of undercover operations in those areas of the county where prostitution activity is occurring.

Probably the only story I have heard that touches on girls that would post here happened in Greensboro NC.  They busted an internet agency and seized all their computers.  I haven't actually seen anything of that magnitude in DC, but there was a news article not too long ago saying they were going to be looking into it.  My personal attitude is that where there is smoke, there is fire, and I counsel being extra careful right now.

I saw my ATF yesterday, and she told me her call volume is down a whopping 80% this month, due to all the panic over LE.  She is actually getting more calls from other providers wanting her to confirm screening info than calls from clients.  She's taking the scare seriously and seeing only regulars right now, even though she, like everyone else I've asked, was unable to provide *any* concrete details whatever about any alleged 'busts'.

Chicken Little lives on.  [sigh]

Cheers!

I didn't have a link handy and was working from memory (always a dangerous thing) about the busts, so your posting the linked info is a perfect example of how we can - and need to - corroborate the stuff that gets passed around here.

This was about streetwalkers in Chesterfield County.

I thought it was damned strange that cops would pose as streetwalkers on Jeff Davis Hwy in NoVa - certainly not in the Crystal City area or Potomac Yards.  Perhaps down along Rt. 1 in the Hybla Valley, but that's pretty far removed from DC itself.

There's still no proof of organized ELLIE activity in DC itself.

I meant proof of what I had mentioned in my previous post about the Richmond sting op.  My intent was to point out what is generally considered acceptable proof of this sort of bust situation.  Sorry for the confusion.
